Why can’t congress kick someone out for tying the entire body’s hands?
No person should have that much power, especially if they were not elected nationally. It should be illegal to threaten national security because you cannot get your way on a social or budgetary issue. |
Because Republicans will never censor their own. Ever. See: Trump. |
+1 It’s a feature, not a bug for those traitorous cretins. If the lack of military appointees ends up hurting the US, they’ll blame Biden. It’s a win win for them. A fairly and legally elected Democratic President is halted from his full, pro America agenda? That’s the ultimate in owning the libs! |
Do not punch left. Also Trump super popularity with base of GOP so he is unusual person. Also when you apologise, enemy take for weakness and attack rather than forgiving the people. It is bad idea to apologize to angry mob. |
But they censor and censure those of their own who dare say a critical word about their holy god-king Trump. See: Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Justin Amash and many others. |

The Pentagon's new abortion travel policy allows service members to have more time off to kill an unborn baby than they generally do to get married.
Yet the left and top military brass tell us that Tommy Tuberville is the bad guy here for blocking their appointments until they rescind it. |
This is such a garbage analysis. Most of the pagan tribes assimilated into Roman culture when they could, then when Rome fell (due to internal strife and corruption), they spent 1,500 years trying to preserve and resurrect its traditions whenever they could. The ghosts of Rome still echo down through Western Civ today. The founding fathers were heavily influenced by classical culture. And many in Moscow consider it "Third Rome." I'm not Italian or anything I just read history. |

So very Trumpy.
“I stand with our veterans and I’m going to donate every dime I make when I’m in Washington, D.C., to the veterans of the state of Alabama. Folks, they deserve it. They deserve it a lot more than most of us.” - Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), in a Facebook campaign video, March 9, 2020 Yet there is no evidence that Tuberville has kept a key pledge he made when he ran for Senate three years ago — that he would “donate very dime” he made in Washington to Alabama veterans.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/07/19/tommy-tuberville-veterans-fact-checker/ |
Per the 2021 Demographic Profile, Marine Corps has a significantly higher percentage of Latinos than the general US population does (24%). Army, Navy and Air Force have a higher percentage of Blacks than the general US population does (20.5%, 18.5%, 14.5%). And in the Army, representation of Black women is significantly higher than in the general population (33.6% of women in the Army are black). The only branch of service that has a higher percentage of whites than the general US population does is the Coast Guard. |
