Mid 30s - Tips for updating outdated millennial style

Anonymous
I watched the two scoops videos and I agree there is something cheap/dated about them. However, the videos do a good job illustrating how to update the lines/proportions of millennial style. Basically it’s a new rule of thirds. Millennial style was 2/3 long sweater/top 1/3 leggings/skinnies. Right now 2/3 jeans 1/3 top. Try Fashion Jackson.

I feel like I am stuck in my colored jean/striped shirt/statement necklace and flats era and I really don’t know how to dress for anything. Looking for a few “quick fixes” to update my look. Or, maybe I should just do a huge purge and budget in a major wardrobe update? Am I that far gone? Sending SOS.
