Suri looks nothing like Chris Klein. At all. I think Suri is Tom Cruise’s child, but I wouldn’t necessarily think the pregnancy resulted from sex.

I can get on board with this one. Especially the bolded, he has unique eyes, as does Suri. People thought Suri looked part Asian when she was born, but CK also kind of has that look and Tom Cruise and Katie do not.

Because they'd already lost one kid. Not protecting Burke wouldn't bring Jonbenet back, and they would likely lose their other kid.

I'm not saying that I'd do the same thing they did, but I can understand wanting to keep your only remaining child out of the juvenile system for what may have been an accident. Maybe he would've gotten some kind of lenient sentence, but they didn't know that in the moment. I hope they got him whatever help he needed over the years.

No, they wouldn't. He was a child, and it was an accident.

Feel free to read the rest of what I wrote. They could've "lost" him to the juvenile justice system, and who knows what would have happened to him there. They were rich and could've had great legal representation, I'm sure, but they weren't lawyers and probably had little to no experience with criminal justice. And even if a lawyer got him off the hook, he'd been forever known as the kid who killed his sister.

In a crisis moment, with their daughter laying their dead, and the risk that their son could be taken away? They made a snap decision to shield their son from the consequences. I'm not at all saying it was right. But I do feel pretty confident that that's how it happened.

Also explains why they had to rush the relationship to the point that it was so awkward. Katie may be a strong woman now, but I think she was like a regular girl with issues surrounding being a "good girl" leading her to make this choice. You might wonder why, but meanwhile, look at all the speculation about the single-mom celebrities on this thread. She was raised in a conservative, Catholic family. Lots of guilt and pressure.

Also: in his wife hunt, he wasn't likely to get anyone as good as Katie. She was just a teen drama star, but she had a good reputation. Who would take an aging, closeted, 2x divorced, Scientology weirdo? A prostitute maybe. So he was lucky to get Katie, who was just young and naive.

I hope Katie writes a memoir when she gets older. She's lucky she got out.

I have read and heard some wild theories on Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise but I can't think of a single reason she wouldn't have just married Chris Klein if she was pregnant with his child. Or just had the child. She was 28 years old! And the kid looks exactly like Katie and Tom.

People seem to forget or let Tom Cruise's crazy cloud the fact that Tom Cruise has consistently been a huge movie star since the late '80's and that anyone that has met him will talk about his charisma and intensity. I don't think it's strange that a young, pretty B-lister would fall for him and then get in over her heard. He is STILL Hollywood gold despite everything that has happened.

Maybe Chris dumped her and she was too proud to beg. If she was 28, she was a young 28 and was not as self actualized as actresses like January Jones or Mindy Kaling who are rare in hollywood to have made the single-mom choice even at much older ages. Plus we are gossiping about them anyway. Katie recovers by marrying a big star within a year of her broken engagement.

Sure Tom is a big star. But celebrity women do not want him, for all the reasons. He could get set up with a no-name, beautiful, fellow Scientologist, but he hasn't done that. Maybe now that he's 60 he can give up pressure to be a leading man in a relationship with an ingenue.
