That's a matter of opinion. My preference is for a denser city, more walkable and less car-dependent. |
Some people, including me, would greatly disagree with you. What makes a city a city is the variety of people and opportunities contained in the city. That only comes with more people, more business, more retail etc. If you want less density, live on a farm. |
And if you want more democracy, don't give a Trump-Manafort political operative carte blanche with Ward 3 redistricting. |
| Task Force member Robert Ward on his social media supports a “compromise” redistricting plan offered by At-large Council Member Silverman. But then Ward mocks her plan on his alter-ego Titter, “Cleveland Park Boomer.” Totally strange behavior for someone on the Ward 3 redistricting Task force. |

cow@dccouncil.us: where to submit comments about Mendelson's most recent ward 3 ANC proposal

| Mendleson is running his own autocracy, bypassing both the appointed task force and his fellow councilmembers. |
It'd be odd behavior if Ward were Cleveland Park Boomer on Twitter, but he's not, so it's not strange behavior. |
That Twitter account is clearly someone intentionally and not subtly mocking Cleveland Park homeowners. So of course it wouldn’t be odd or inconsistent that Bob Ward would be running the account. |
The woman who posts from that account is not Bob. |
Oh, Jesus Christ. Having a different ANC rep is not some kind of erosion of democracy. |
Not getting your way is gerrymandering and autocracy. Got it. |

I am curious what exactly Goulet thinks is thoughtful and transparent about Medelson's actions.
Looks more like pandering to the infinite degree. |
