The polling that matters is going to be the polling after the DNC next month. Until then, anyone telling you this isn’t a gamble is lying. And any poll when many people didn’t really believe Biden would leave isn’t really accurate. IDK if the gamble will pay off or not. But, I feel better today than I did a few months ago, because a 50% chance of gamble working out beats a 95% chance of losing and taking all the down ballot races with it. There’s a chance it works. Would I like more? Sure. But a chance is better than no shot at all. |
She said whichever party dropped their 80 year old candidate first would win. She's right about that. |
My GenZ kids aren’t fired up. One said he’d vote for Whitmer. Maybe they will be, but not yet… |
are they going to vote for Trump? |
Bad idea. She’s on a very compressed timeline. She can govern well. Or she can campaign well. She can’t do both in 100 Days. He does the day job, she is 100% on the campaign. Plus, what policy victory is she going to score in 100 days with Mike Johnson in charge of the House? There isn’t going to be some huge legislative accomplishment for her to coast on. |
No. But, not sure if Harris will get them to the polls. |
Really took teaching your kids their civic duty seriously didn’t you? |

Which is amusing because virtually NO one had confidence in KH stepping in as president - but now they claim she’s a fantastic candidate! The best! So excited! ![]() DP |
Yep! Isn't it surprising how quickly things can change? Expect the unexpected, as the saying goes. Let's go! |
Here we go again…you know as a lifelong Dem I believe it’s up to the Dems to earn a vote. It’s not up to GenZ to save democracy. I wanted to vote at their age because Clinton was dynamic. They voted to save abortion access in the midterms, but let’s be real and admit the Dems haven’t done much for GenZ. They believe America is on the decline. So stop taking about TA Trump, and start inspiring young people. |
She will get young women to the polls. I'm not allowed to support any political candidates or partisan positions because of work but I'm going to work on GOTV activities that target Gen Z. |
I posted at 14:26 how Biden and influencers timed it right. Two things were deliberately planned before Biden agreed to announce. Had to be after the RNC when Trump was officially the nominee and wasted all his energy on Biden (bonus). Had to be before the DNC so Biden is not on the ballot. Announcement letter from Biden yesterday, immediately followed by endorsing Kamala. (bonus donations and delegates transfer to her) Now Johnson is going to play litigation games. Irony, Harris litigates like a boss. 1. Laws about changing the nominee wouldn’t apply to Biden since he dropped out before the convention. 2. Any lawsuit challenging Biden dropping out “will have no legal basis whatsoever” and “would be a purely political act to create controversy where there is none.” |
