She will be facing State and Federal criminal charges and her law license will be suspended or worse after she is removed from the Trump case |
Okay. |
| The judge formerly worked for her so she still has a chance. |
That seems like a pretty big “if” and still I don’t see how this somehow cancels out Trump’s conduct vis-a-vis Georgia voters. |
. She is not on trial, which is why the judge can make inferences from her lies, but she can stay out of jail in a future case because of reasonable doubt. The boyfriend's wife got to leverage this case for a favorable settlement, because he lied in the divorce case. Now he is claiming attorney client privilege, and since it is not Willis on trial, the judge is free to make assumptions about his refusal to waive attorney client privilege. |
That is not the if. It is that she embezzled government funds to send them to her boyfriend who then shared the funds with her taking her on trips. It's why she has to lie about reimbursing him for the trips. The bigger the case she prosecutes, the bigger the payout to her married boyfriend. It doesn't cancel out Trump's conduct, but it does mean someone else should be doing the prosecution. People who are against Trump should support having experienced attorneys on this case. The boyfriend has no experience on RICO cases, and it's not clear he has even been part of a felony case, and his first one will be a former President? It is possible this is a bogus case that is only being prosecuted to make money for the prosecutor and the boyfriend. Have another county DA's office handle the case and see what their noncorrupted judgment is. |
Although it would be poetic justice, Trump is not being prosecuted simply because Fani Willis saw the potential to syphon off a portion of a government contractor’s salary. LOL |
That is a bizarre fantasy. None of that has any relationship to the real world. |
It’s make-up-your-own-legal-definitions day! |
Really? Cool. So now tell me what charges Clarence Thomas will be facing, when he will be removed from office and when he will have his law license suspended or worse, given his ethics violations and illegal gifts were much larger than Willis's and went on for much much longer than Willis's? |
Whataboutism.... This thread is about Fani Willis and Nathan Wade and whether they are going to remain in place to prosecute the cases that Fani brought in GA. Take your rant to another thread. |
She didn't embezzle any funds. He wasn't her boyfriend when he was hired. God, you people... |
if that is the case, why did so many defendents take plea deals and why did so many Trump attorney's bail out and turn state's evidence? |
+1000. All they have is an assortment of half-baked and unfounded accusations with nowhere near enough solid evidence to prove any of it. And, Willis was pretty clear on her philosophy with regard to dating. Having been through some bad relationships she wanted to pay her own way and to not to be beholden to any man financially. She testified to that. |
NO. NO, NO and NO. Absolutely NOT. If you want to sit here and rant on and on and on about how Fani Willis is corrupt and criminal and needs to be removed from the case, impeached and removed from office, prosecuted and stripped of her law license (despite your lack of evidence) then Clarence Thomas also needs to be addressed given the gifts he took and the glaring conflicts of interest on his end and his refusals to recuse are FAR worse, FAR more egregious, and FAR more obvious and at this point FAR more well documented than anything Fani Willis did. I'm really sick of the bogus, disingenuous, hypocritical double standard you are putting in place here. I WILL NOT take it to another thread. If you don't like it, then maybe YOU are the one who should leave. Shame on you. |
