To the former ANCer, those of us who have read this whole thread know your story has been shared by many others virtually verbatim. I for one have no doubt Jen was all about Jen at ANC. I’d take it as a badge of honor to not have met her narcissistic criteria to be in her clique. That meant you asked questions and didn’t turn a blind eye to inconsistencies and hypocrisy. Bravo, you are our people, the awakened.

This 100%. I want to team up a forensic accountant with an investigative journalist and do an expose regarding 'charity brokers in the faith space'. See where exactly the money goes and doesn't go. Start with Pure Charity and then to The Legacy Collective.

Yes, please. It’s time to look under that hood.

Yep—. I was there at the first (or one of the first) discussions by Brandon at church about this deal. I welcomed the conversation and help talked a good game, but I couldn’t help but to keep thinking — “What is the advantage of them taking my money and then investing it for me with a worthwhile charity?” Why not just endorse the good ones or give a list or something. I just always had a hard time with knowing that there had to be some dough skimmed off the top for administrative fees and such…. It just seemed like a total boondoggle the more I though about it. Why does there need to be this “middle-man”? Nothing I’ve seen since has convinced me otherwise. I mean, it’s good work if you can get it but it’s fishy af to me.

YES! 👏🏻
I went down a google rabbit hole one day trying to figure out the difference between Legacy Collective and Pure Charity - and I don’t get it. At one point, LC was just using PC logins to give. And the PC origin story is kind of similar to Jen & Brandon’s story about LC - but different people? And PC gives grant money to LC! It’s in their financial records. Some shady stuff is going on, for real…..

And… where did the celeb board members go? Wasn’t Scot Hamilton the Paisley’s once board members along with a couple of other celebs? Maybe their agents, accountants or lawyers discovered the sketchy nature of this deal. Who knows— it’s all speculation but I gotta believe it’s about the money…. It’s always about the money. Always.

Willy Robertson and his wife came to one over charity events at her house. Now there no sign of any of those people. Hmm.

Part of this will be to investigate where the grants go beyond the award.

For example, LC cuts a “$50,000 check” to a charity like Help One Now. From there where does the money go? Down to
the cent.

Good call out—- the whole Help One Now deal is another one of their cronies…. I mean it seems like a worthwhile deal, but they did take an entire Sunday at ANC to do a 45 mins sales pitch with Andrew Barlow there telling the stories of his charity and what they were trying to do.

Marlow— not Barlow. My mistake.

Maybe the church agreed not to prosecute if they paid it back. Or maybe he just spent money and she didn’t know about it. But something financial happened.

How do you know someone financial happened? Can you share anything else? Wouldn’t they have to tell the church? If they did, the story would definitely be out at this point!

I was just speculating. I just don’t think they are above board and I’m guessing something happened withregard to money.

Yeah, none of the “he stole church/nonprofit money” theories make sense. Zero evidence, all speculation. Highly unlikely that they could have kept that covered up, even if no legal action was taken. Plus, he has another charity now. Do you think Jen and all these supposed people who know would keep quiet and let him start another charity in the same town if they knew he stole from a former one? Highly doubtful.

He’s a middle aged man who got married young and never lived as an adult on his own, came out of a highly religious, oppressed environment, and realized he was married to a narcissist. His kids were mostly grown and he started noticing what else was out there. He wanted to live his own life and get his dick wet somewhere else. It’s not rocket science, it’s classic mid life crisis stuff.
