For me personally, there's absolutely nothing wrong with having 2 women on the ticket, or 2 African Americans. But I don't think the majority of American voters would go for either of those scenarios right now. Misogymy and racism are still ingrained in many Americans.

Look at how long it took for women to have the right to vote, or for all African Americans to have the right to vote.

The Harris ticket will have to have a white male to keep white people happy.

DP but she polls better than Biden in most categories with the exception of old white people. Also, before it was a hypothetical. Now it's reality. We'll see how much things change now that the Democrats have a fresh ticket instead of a tired old man with dementia. Haven't we all seen the Trump show before? It's a tired act. Harris brings a generational shift and fresh energy to the ticket at the top. And don't discount having the first woman President as being a thing for Democrats and younger voters.
