I guess they finally strong armed him while he was alone in his basement maybe with covid but probably not. I would really hope they have a better pick than Kamala next on deck. Literally no one likes her not even her own party. I've read she's pretty much a republican anyway. I think this was a bad last minute decision they should have been working on this over a year ago.

Well, everyone has endorsed her, but if what you're saying is true that she's basically a Republican, it wlil play well. We're a center-right country and she should easily be able to peel actual conservatives off the MAGA mess.

No, she did lousy in the last primary. But she was elected DA, AG, and senator so she's not totally to be written out.

She has a huge amount of goodwill and support behind her right now, from Dem pols and voters, from independents, from Never Trumpers, from Gen Xers and Millennials and Gen Zers, from regular Americans. All she has to do is not flub it too badly and she will be the next president.
