No, you just teach your sons to keep their hands to themselves and not treat girls like trophies.

doesn't matter if he ever toucher her. What matters is this he said she said BS and who is believable

Oh he got too drunk and doesn't remember? GUILTY! Burn him to the ground!

Why would Ford have come forward iif she thought he wouldn’t remember? This is not he said she said. It’s she said and he lies.

CAn't wait to see Kamala Harris question him.

Agree. He is a garden variety political hack who has been infiltrating the judiciary. We are lucky to have uncovered him now.

I also agree. Just like aspiring astronauts are judged for their even-keeled temperament, so too should Supreme Court judges. Different jobs, same potential for long-reaching disaster if someone blows a gasket.

And, its all about him... no empathy

That's right, he should be emotionless.

He's emotional not because he didn't do it, but because he did and said himself he fears losing his teaching job, coaching job, judgeship, SC seat, etc. That is something to cry over. He believes if he can cry enough to win the vote he can keep all that he has. He wants us to weigh all that he will lose if they don't vote for him, hoping that the loss will be too great to vote against him.

He didn’t say that - he said Holton was an independent private school and that he socialized with Catholic school girls. He said nothing about Holton being a rural Gaithersburg school.

He definitely said it was in gaithersburg, i dunno is there a transcript? It really stuck out with me. Because he brought up HC and Landon as 'in' and they are basically both walking distance from Holton.

Ok I found it. I was wrong. I still feel like he kind of glosses over how they were all in the same club but less egregious than I thought

When my friends and I spent time together at parties on weekends, it was usually with friends from nearby Catholic all-girls high schools: Stone Ridge, Holy Child, Visitation, Immaculata, Holy Cross. Dr. Ford did not attend one of those schools. She attended an independent private school named Holton Arms, and she was a year behind me. She and I did not travel in the same social circles. It is possible that we met at some point at some events, although I do not recall that.

I find the comments about his emotion and crying - man up, what a pansy, go fix your lipstick - to be disgusting, frankly. THIS is why men don’t feel comfortable expressing themselves and some eventually snap. Anyone who says something like that is part of the problem.

Stuff about revenge for the Clintons? Stuff about "The Left"? All that is so hyper partisan that alone should disqualify him.

Yes. His insistence about a hearing "the next day" wanting to "immediately defend his name" is bs. He's a lawyer. He's a judge. He knows that things take time. Yelling "10 days" like its something unreasonable. Trials and hearings take MONTHS. He knows this. He is playing games and blowing all these dog whistles. Disgusting.

How so (genuinely curious)?

HIs opening monologue - he doesn't have the temperment befitting a judge. Period. Much less SCOTUS.

He was almost disparaging of Holton. He spoke as though he would never deign to be around a Holton girl. He also fudged on his statement about what Leland said. She said she did not recall--not that she wasn't there. He plays fast and loose with facts. It's really disturbing.

is holton jews or protestants?

Plot twist. After today’s hearing the Committee nominates Dr. Ford to the Supreme Court.

His friends were similarly disparaging of Avenatti’s client. Quoted in WaPo they said we would never hang out with public school girls.
