+1 lots of disgusting, entitled violent "men" in the world. |
Maybe Mary Trump could share her DNA for a genealogical type match. I bet she'd do it. |
Twitter thread on the cross-examination of Carroll:
"I'm telling you," she says, nearly shouting the remark that follows: "He raped me, whether I screamed or not." "I don't need any excuse for not screaming." ... If she were lying, Carroll said she would have told people: "I screamed my head off." Then, she says, more people would have believed her. https://twitter.com/KlasfeldReports/status/1651664373671161864 |
Yes, the stories that have been shared with me - one stranger rape and one with people the girl considered friends - both said they were silent, in shock and disbelief. Reading some of the comments made by men and rape apologists over the years on here I think many men take silence to be consent or at least acquiescence. Not that I think screaming would stop them; someone willing to rape is willing to rape regardless. |
Women are told not to fight back or scream as this could make the rapist even more violent. The objective for every women is to survive. Screaming could easily end up getting a woman strangled.
Do not judge if you haven't been there. |
Trump renacts the assault for his fans.

It’s “fun” to watch him again and think what a deeply unwell person he is. |
Trump's lawyer Tacopina just motioned for a mistrial.
From the filing:
The judge this morning denied the request for the mistrial. Now she's being asked why she kept going to the Bergdorf with the author of the Official Preppy Handbook, and why she didn't go to the police when she told her advice readers to do exactly that. |
I hope he pulled a muscle with that reach. |
+100 I was raped literally hundreds of times during my first and second marriages. Sometimes you have no other option but to suffer in silence. And form of resistance could mean your life. People should be ashamed of themselves for judging this woman. She’s a survivor FFS. |
She's a liar. And, a person who is seeking notoriety. |

This isn’t surprising at all, politically or legally. Trump’s big fat mouth invited this lawsuit in the first place, and he screwed up in the deposition so badly that he thought a photo of E. Jean was a photo of Marla Maples, totally falsifying his claim that he’d never touch her because she wasn’t his type. He’d be a horror show on the stand. |
