Now that the kids are older, Jon is looking to get custody of the kids so that he can get half of everything that Kate has if not more. Kate refused him share custody and would not even follow the visitation order. Most judges only care about child support, not visitation. If mom restricts visitation rarely is anything done about it. He was not allowed to see his kids. It was not his choice but hers. He went to court many times. Not only did she refuse to see Collin but she abandoned him for three years. The show probably paid for the facility.

Have you watched the interviews over the years? The one where Kate's brother and his wife spoke out was pretty clear. The cameras brought $$ with them, true, but they were also intrusive at times and a lot of children (and adults) would not want cameras in there homes for that many hours (check the episode count for some years) or filming ever family vacation. I value my alone time with my loved ones far more than I value the almighty dollar.

Kate's brother and wife were not the ones with 8 kids. They were not the ones who had to raise, clothe, house and feed 8 kids. The fact that they are still attempting to make a difficult job even more difficult for Kate would make me want to cut them off just like Kate has. It was HER house.

She didn’t have IVF, and to my knowledge hasn’t discussed the fertility treatments she used to get pregnant. I’m pretty convinced she took clomid or something similar, hyperovulated, and had intercourse against medical advice.

You can be convinced of whatever you want. But you’re wrong because they’ve discussed their fertility treatments for over a decade now. They’ve stated that they only wanted one more kid, had IUI and then ended up with 6 kids.

You realize that the Radar article doesn’t contradict the NYT article, right? And that the article is based on the biography about Kate that was based on her personal diaries. The book Kate was desperate to not have published. It’s known that she had IUI and the Radar article states that. It’s what she did after the IUI that caused the sextuplets.
