I say this with all sincerity - f off you soulless person. I seriously hope you don't consider yourself a Christian or religious Jew. I'm sure you'd love it if your 8 year old were sleeping on concrete, infested with lice with no way to get rid of them, no shower, no soap, lights on all night. I mean seriously, go f yourself and your f-ing word play.

I'll say it again: if your justification for government-sanctioned child abuse is that they crossed a line on a map, on rock floating in infinite space, you are failing as a human being. You just are.

I’d like to think they’re just trolls, but unfortunately there are truly people who think that if you/your parents committed a misdemeanor trying to seek asylum and a safer, better life, then you deserve to be treated like sh1t.

Except the caregivers are giving the best care they can with the resources they have. You got a problem with that? Go to a mission in South Texas right now and I promise your help will be welcomed with open arms. But, nah, you are just gonna complain how the taxes I am paying (I get the impression you don't pay much if any) to the people who aren't trained child care givers or certified bed and breakfast operators aren't good enough for the humanitarian crisis at the border. No one is listening to your concerns because you are pissed when the sun rises.

You'd complain that a paramedic couldn't perform open heart surgery.

That's .... not how the constitution or the court order work.

The decision that claimed it's okay to go a night without a toothbrush? Sheer insanity. I don't have time to deal not the desire to with your mental issues.

Either you do or you do not believe in the rule of law. You don't get to have it both ways.

You want it many different ways with the most egregious being providing human traffickers a free pass to smuggle humans, while providing a Welcome To America rest stop. I have an idea: leave them a crappy Yelp review.

‘There Is a Stench’: No Soap and Overcrowding in Detention Centers for Migrant Children

A chaotic scene of sickness and filth is unfolding in an overcrowded border station in Clint, Tex., where hundreds of young people who have recently crossed the border are being held, according to lawyers who visited the facility this week. Some of the children have been there for nearly a month.

Children as young as 7 and 8, many of them wearing clothes caked with snot and tears, are caring for infants they’ve just met, the lawyers said. Toddlers without diapers are relieving themselves in their pants. Teenage mothers are wearing clothes stained with breast milk.

Well, when the southerners and Texans flee north due to climate change, which they deny, we can hold them in similar type pens and see how they like it.

If only someone in government warned what was coming every spring and fall. If only someone had some forethought, what a wonderful world this would be.

Big difference numbnuts...people from Texas are US citizens and free to move within the US. Illegal aliens are that...illegal aliens per the law.

Logic isn't your strong suit.

the problem with this "it's only one night" BS is that these kids are NOT being held only one night.

Also, did people miss the part about the lice combs being used by MULTIPLE kids? That is NOT OK.

What's not ok is trekking children thousands of miles across dangerous conditions to get a free ride.
it's not ok to try to enter the country illegally and expect to get in.

take it up with their parents. This is not the children's fault.

Also, you have no idea if they are all "illegal" or not. Presenting yourself for asylum is NOT illegal.

And how do you know they are looking for a free ride? Immigrants are majority hard working people who are grateful to be able to be here.
