Barr is lying. He lied about the Mueller report. His letter was a shameful misrepresentation that literally took phrases out of context to "show" innocence on behalf of the investigation. If you had read the Mueller report, you would know that. Instead, you have relied on other people's misrepresentations. Try reading the report yourself, including all of the footnotes, and the newly unredacted portions (as of yesterday) that dealt with Flynn and Wikileaks. The Mueller report has literally shown obstruction of justice and "collusion" now that the Flynn material is out in the open. |
I suggest you take a look at how Mueller kept four innocent men in jail (two died there) in the Whitey Bulger case and how MA taxpayers had to hugely compensate the two that were finally released. Barr's pick, John Durham, was the one who fixed it all. https://www.independentsentinel.com/barrs-investigator-john-durham-once-probed-mueller-in-a-shocking-case/ |
No relevance here. Start a different thread. |
Ironic given not 5 posts early, it was "can't respond to the post, attack the messenger" So any response as to why people are pleading guilty, lying, obstructing justice here? Or do you have some other talking point deflection you would like to share? |
If Mueller was willing to keep 4 innocent men in jail to protect Bulger and to protect the FBI, the answer should be mighty clear to you. |
Extremely relevant, considering it was MUELLER and WEISSMAN who were involved in the Bulger scandal and it was DURHAM who uncovered it. Do those names sound remotely familiar? |
Not ONE - not ONE - American has been convicted or even accused of conspiring with Russia - the accusation that got this whole thing started. Not ONE. Why did some of them lie? I don't know the answer to that, but in some cases, it could well be that the failed to accurately remember dates, places and times. Mueller had to find guilt with some of them for something. Considering the length and expense of the investigation. And, in most cases, the charges were a result of actions the individuals did well before their campaign involvement or as a result of the investigation (process crimes). So, why was this Russian conspiracy hoax even started? You don't seem to want to know the answer to that. Despite ALL the evidence that has come out - and there has been a ton of it - that people in the top echelons of our IC did things that were questionable, if not criminal, and you still don't want to know the genesis of this Russian story? |
Those are the kind of lies that put people in jail. Try reading the indictment and sentencing documents to understand the nature of the lies. They are material to the Mueller investigation. Not understanding that makes the rest of your "justifications" mere tripe. I know the genesis of the Russia story. Since the late 1980's, Trump has had an infatuation with Russia. Since the 1990's, he has been laundering Russian money. In 2013, he and the Russian knew he was running for President and the Russians would be aiding the campaign. Since 2015 our allies in Europe and Austrialia, as part of a collaboration called Five Eyes, have been monitoring Russians and Russian allied agents around the world. In 2015-2016, people in Trump's orbit were caught in up in that monitoring, either directly, or through second party conversations. It's not like no one knew about any of this. It has been widely reported and documented. |
Well. You had best alert the authorities about everything you "know." And, widely reported and documents? Sure, by Twitter conspiracy theorists. The Krassenstein brothers and Seth Abramson thank you. |
Why are Democrats so afraid of AG Barr? |
Not afraid. Disgusted. |
“The first principle is that you must not fool yourself, and you are the easiest person to fool.” |
Trey Gowdy, in an interview this morning, confirmed that there are tapes and transcripts of FBI informants and George Papadopoulos and that they are exculpatory and were withheld from the FISA court.
He is hoping all of this information is declassified and made public. |
I'll tell you the truth, bud - not only aren't Democrats in "full panic mode over what Barr is about to uncover" most of us aren't paying attention to this at all because it seems so utterly preposterous. This seems no more legitimate than your 4,000,000th Benghazi hearing. It seems like Republicans love wasting taxpayer money on their little political theater performances, is basically what it is - while utterly failing to govern or address the issues that anyone actually cares about. |
Sure, Gowdy. Remember? You quit. Because Republicans were all too stupid for you. |
