Benghazi is a tragic event. The years of hearings were a rabbit hole. As far as investigating the origins of the FBI probe, there's a reason that you haven't heard a peep from Durham so far. Unless Meadows and Jordan tweet about it, you won't hear anything from him ever. Because there's nothing there. Nothing untoward. |
Does that include looking into the shady dealings of the Trump campaign with malignant foreign agents? Careful what you wish for! |
No, no they weren’t, but you keep drinking that koolaide. |
Time will tell. I suspect we have not heard from Durham because he is doing his job. |
This is absolute madness. Trump's people were talking to shady Russians. That is a fact. Our government needs to know why foreign operatives are talking to our citizens. Hence, investigations by the FBI. Not spying.
The stupid is so damn strong here. |
I agree totally! I do think that some, formerly in our government, know full well why foreign operatives were talking to our citizens. Like Azra Turk, for one. And then there is Natalia V. Veselnitskaya of the "Trump Tower meeting" fame. Curious that she met with people at Fusion GPS both before and right after the Trump Tower meeting. And, also curious that she was initially denied a visa to enter the US, but then granted one by the State Dept.
https://www.cnn.com/2017/11/02/politics/trump-tower-meeting-natalia-veselnitskaya/index.html And, I would not be surprised at all to learn that others were somehow connected to people who had something to do with the dossier. |
Well I guess this IS what Republicans would spend their time on instead of, say, trying to fix healthcare or infrastructure or anything like that.
It's like what they really want is to *keep* the Russia investigation in the news - instead of actually governing. |
You know why. You just don't care for the reason because it's not very sexy. |
LOL. How ironic. After how many document requests were sent by the House in March? Yep, 81. Seems to me that Democrats are struggling to do the people's work. |
There were ten different investigations of the attacks in Benghazi: six by Republican-controlled House committees - Armed Services, Foreign Affairs, Intelligence, Judiciary, and Oversight, as well as the House Select Committee; one by the FBI; one by the Senate Intelligence Committee; one by the Senate Homeland Security Committee; and one by the State Department Accountability Review Board. The House Select Committee didn’t release its report until June 2016, so longer than two years. |
Nope, the Dems have passed a number of bills that McConnell is letting wither. Why is he against shoring up our election security and our education programs? |
Obama's people never talked to "shady" Russians. Wait! Which shady Russians were Hillary and Bill talking to, while she was working for Obama? We need to see that list..... |
It was Papadopoulos. In the bar. With the Australian operative.
Mystery solved. Can I collect the $10M? |
...and protecting Americans with pre-existing conditions, and acting on climate change, and paycheck fairness, and protecting health care, and disaster aid, and extending flood insurance... |
No, but you win TrumpClue. |
