Hard to say from the posts above. But while we are on the topic...

I can not believe someone with your soccer IQ and analytical skills would grace this site with your post. There must be such a demand for you talents as a handicapper. You obviously know what you are talking about! Screw the rest of the world. Just because you are bitter and alone in your belief does not make you wrong! Yes Messi can only be judged by how his nationals teams plays...that is brilliant analysis. Keep yelling “sent it” on the sidelines!

You can't get over it!!! Truly unbelievable. Love living inside your head.

No one said Messi isn't a great player, by the way, just that he isn't clutch. He's not, his psyche doesn't have it. If you tell me that you'd rather Messi on the spot than several other players with a game of that magnitude on the line, you are a fool. That's just based on data, not emotion.

LOL Here is his record- Messi has won a record-tying five Ballon d'Or awards, four of which consecutively, and a record five European Golden Shoes. He has spent his entire professional career with Barcelona, where he has won a club-record 33 trophies, including 10 La Liga titles, four UEFA Champions League trophies and six Copas del Rey. Messi holds the records for most goals in La Liga and Europe's top-five leagues (417), a La Liga season and club league season in Europe (50), a club football season in Europe (73), most official goals in a calendar year (91), El Clásico (26), most hat-tricks in the UEFA Champions League (8), most wins in La Liga, as well as those for most assists in La Liga (167) and the Copa América (11). He has scored over 690 senior career goals for club and country.

Yes he is not clutch...lol. You know nothing about soccer or sports. Got it! Oh that’s right you said you can not consider Messi’s clubs performance because ....? So why don’t you post the career stats of someone you consider a clutch player. Let see how that comparison goes. I see you have already taken to name calling unable to prove your crazy conjecture on “data” as you call it.

https://www.businessinsider.com/cristiano-ronaldo-or-lionel-messi-the-winner-is-clear-for-big-games-2018-4

We analysed who the better big-game player is, Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi — and the stats show the winner is clear

And you are still a fool if you’d rather Messi on the spot in a game deciding situation. Fact. Truth hurts. Sorry you are still crying.

Well at least Ronaldo never lost in the World Cup Finals. That you actually need to make it to the finals in order to lose we'll just overlook.

For girls, the pre-U12 years on the smaller field is a growth spurt race. Teams with bigger/faster players win almost all the time.

Look, anyone who brings up a argument about how good or not good Messi is in a thread about little girls soccer should really just STFU and get over it themselves. Grow up

Nope, not embarrassed at all. Played competitive games against the best teams from around the country. Any given day a team of 10 and 11 year old kids will be stellar or not. They wiin some and lose some. They don’t seem concerned at all - just lots of folks ridiculously trying to determine rsnkings of U11 soccer teams.

Can't speak for 08 parents but I know a lot of terrible Arlington parents that have heads the size of balloons just because the kids play for Arlington.

My 08G can score using telekinesis. Her penalty shot was once clocked at 124 mph. She plays striker, goalie, and centre back, simultaneously. She once played Arlington, McLean & Loudoun all at the same time, and beat them 33-0. She would have had several more goals, but she was very tired from a red-eye flight home after a three-day stint where she received ESPN's Sportsperson of the Year, SI's Athlete of the Decade, and the Nobel Prize for Economics and Chemistry (in the same year). She once juggled a soccer ball, a chainsaw, and Lionel Messi 500 times without any of them hitting the ground. She is being recruited by DA, ECNL, ODP, USWNT and the Boston Bruins, but will probably just play rec next year.
