My middle school son was harassed relentlessly for the last two years for being in chorus. If anything, the motivation was likely jealousy, but that's not the point. Many of these were the same kids who claimed to be Democrats and vehemently hated Trump and all of his bigotry. At the lunch table, or in Civics class where they discussed politics daily.

Not true. He approached the boys and they are standing in a group on steps. Nobody blocked him. All you have to do is watch the video yourself.

At one point Phillips drum appears to touch the young man’s shoulder. Phillips beats the drum literally in the young man’s face. The drum stick is flashing by, only inches from his nose. At the same time, Phillips is chanting/screaming directly into the young man’s face. It appears to be an attempt at provocation by Phillips.

The young MAGA hat wearer refuses to be intimidated or provoked into a reaction that can be used against him.

So, what I saw was the drummer walking through the crowd, and the one boy purposefully blocking his path. At first the rest of the crowd seems to be chanting along, not really in a harassing way, but the energy gets more dark as the standoff continues. Some of the boys seem confused, others seem like they are part of the gang.

There are a bunch of videos posted. One can interpolate what happened by visually editing them together, but the facts as reported generally are accurate, IMO. The "fault" here is accurate, and the parents of these kids ought to be (but I am sure aren't) ashamed.

If these were my kids, you bet they would be hearing it from me and my spouse.

Really, so other native protesters were walking up into the crowd of boys and the 15 year old moved to block the man with the drum? I didn’t see any natives walking past the boys. The MAGA boy didn’t move at all. If the native man tried to get by him and the boy moved and blocked him it wasn’t on the clip.

Also the native man could have given the boy personal space. He moved toward the boy, not the other way around. By saying the boy could have backed up you confirm the native man approached the boy. I saw no boys surrounding the any native man or woman.
