Yes, when that phrase is a direct or indirect object rather than the subject. |
Sorry, but any good trial lawyer could do the questioning. The fact that they chose a *prosecutor* tells us everything we need to know. |
OMG then he interrupts Feinstein!
|
disgusting Feinstein |
I know what an opening statement is but his tone is ridiculously patronizing. |
She can read. Grassley is an embarrassment. |
Perjury. |
Feinstein just went through Ford's academic qualifications/CV and to me it just screams, why would someone so accomplished and comfortable in their career come forward with these allegations if they were false? I know it's been said. But it's just hard to believe people think she's somehow seeking fame when she could stick to what she obviously loves, doing research psychology in academia. |
Teach your kids to speak up when they are the target of assault, or witnesses anything that's not right. Are you people doing this? |
Grassley did not introduce her and now he would interrupt Feinstein. Ridiculous. Why did he introduce the GOP side prosecutor in so much detail now and say he would introduce Dr. Ford later. He did not even bother to welcome Dr. Ford, smile or anything. He is such a scum! |
The Dems and her lawyers didn't want ANY lawyer at all. Well before this prosecutor was chosen, this was a sticking point that almost caused Ford to back out. They wanted the 11 men to do it, and they wanted it badly. |
What else is new! Pilots have to retire at age 65 ... so should these old white guy Senators. |
+1 Grassley's voice is intolerable, but the difficulty reading is especially annoying. |
He apologized to her. Miss that? |
Grassley - ugh. He is exactly what needs to go. Vote them out. He tried to discredit Ford in his remarks, then called for "fair and respectful"proceedings. Disgusting. Typical hypocritical whiny old rich white man.
Can't pronounce "Ramirez", that's one of them weird foreign names. VOTE THEM OUT! |
