That would be shitty. But I don’t see why? It won’t help.

I suspect it is so those who complained about the Kingsbury move leave. I know of at least 14 kids leaving. And I know there are a many contemplating leaving because of perceived mismanagement from the Board. No one trusts the Board anymore, and administrators couch everything they say with “well once the Board makes the decision....”. It’s just painful to see how little parents trust the board and how the administrators don’t really trust them either. It’s mismanagement on all levels. If the teachers weren’t outstanding and my kids weren’t thriving I’d absolutely be out the door, no question.

Call them. Can’t hurt to try.

That makes no sense.

+1. Also please don’t believe everything you read on DCUM. I suspect more than a few of these over the top responses are from people hoping to get in off the waitlists.

They haven’t decided where school will be located next year. NEXT YEAR. As in, 4 months from now. It’s disgraceful.

Oh sure we are all DYING OF JEALOUSY since you can’t even say where your little ones will be in 4 months. Yes we are all so jealous of this extreme competence.

It makes perfect sense. If kids in grades older than K leave, LAMB loses that funding permanently, because they can’t fill that spot.

They did the same thing last year. They didn’t announce the proposed Kingsbury move until right after the MSDC enrollment deadline.

Well you sure seem to be overly invested, sweetie.

I'm a prospective parent at LAMB, waitlisted as #20 for prek-4. I think the board sounds like an issue for sure but I'm still interested in having my child attend LAMB. My question is when will they start moving down the waitlist? When I emailed admissions they said it would go all summer and possibly into September - is this true? My inbound school isn't great but it's ok for next year. Can I still re-enroll there or should I hold off until I hear from LAMB? Not even sure if I will hear from them though?

You might not get in with that number, but i do hear dozens of families who may leave depending on the location of the school next year.

That is just disgraceful and totally par for the course as far as that incompetent Board is concerned.

You should re-enroll in your in-bounds school and plan to stay there until and unless you get called off the waitlist - they don't usually go that far on the PK4 list, but it sounds like anything is possible this year.

I’m a lamb parent and the only people who think the Board is doing a good job are on the board. They have mishandled everything. The chairperson of the Board is extremely lucky she wasn’t sued personally in one of the fernandez lawsuits since it is obvious to everyone she has very unclean hands.
