Years ago when my DD was touring Bullis - the AD told us they were 1) building dorms and 2) building an Ice Rink on campus. Obviously, it didn't happen but who knows what direction they're headed

Bullis has taken on a shit ton of debt in recent years... would love to see their current balance sheet.

They aren't building dorms any time soon.

Sounds like Bullis investing in itself has really butt-hurt some people. Sorry your son’s school is not doing the same thing.

Haters gonna hate

Be honest, that ‘kid’ was you, wasn’t it?! You good now that you got it off your chest?

Bullis has grown from 800 to 1100 in 6 years and financial aid is rumored to be at 20%. (So, 300 students multiplied by net tuition of roughly $48,000 = $14,400,000 + less financial aid given to the original 800 kids, so likely $18,000,000++ additional revenue PER YEAR.) If true, their balance sheet probably looks incredible. I'd love to see that balance sheet at my boys' school.

It’s public and similar to its peer schools.

School is doing just fine.

As of the latest available 2024 financial data, the organization generated approximately $70 million in revenue against $53 million in expenses, producing a surplus of roughly $16 million. The balance sheet reflects $70 million in liabilities and $146 million in net assets, indicating a strong overall financial position. With investments/reserves of $26 MM and growing.

Tell me you’re jealous without telling me you’re jealous.

Bell is a very good guy outside of actual game day, but IAC parents are going to have a heart attack watching him on the sidelines. Once you see his antics, you can’t look away.

So he’s a good coach that is locked in on game days?! That’s ok in my book.

Is Bell also part of Bullis staff, i.e. full-time at school to continue fostering the lax culture that Bellistri built?

My guess is that he will be. He was a college counselor at STAB and has taught before. I think his wife worked at STAB too. And kids went to school there. I imagine he will be very invested.

Landon is scared now.

He's in the college counseling department at Bullis - he's full time.

Bullis did it right. They found a great lax coach and college counselor with great connections to lax schools and coaches. I bet parents are reading the fine print on their current school’s contract.
