Nope. 16. Instagram is a double edged sword for many parents.

Not with that kid I assume? He’s not even legal for 29.

He is 15. He gets constant accusations of being too old, which has turned into an inside joke with our team and the boys love to comment on instagram that he drives, etc, because they enjoy the reaction from folks like you.

Next Level plays age verified tournaments. Some have a June 1 cutoff, and in those events our May bdays do not play. I’ve stood on the sideline next to the boy in question while he was *not* playing, and next to us were parents complaining that our kids are too old. It never ends.

I know how badly the haters want to believe that we play kids too old, have a team of reclasses, etc. Sorry to disappoint with the truth.

15 or 16 the NAL cutoff date is June 1.

And he did not play in NAL. Please move on.

Is the imaginary 16 year in the room with you right now?

I love the gaslighting on this kid’s behalf. It’s fine that he is 15 or 16 or however old he is but don’t act like it doesn’t matter. If it didn’t matter the rules wouldn’t exist.
Anonymous
And also pretending this isn’t a real thing is when the other kids on the team get screwed because someone didn’t pay attention to the fine print. Just be open and that is less likely to happen.

So he is in the room. What else do you see? How many days a week would you say you are plagued by these hallucinations?

The kid turned 15 in May. I really hope this helps you. There’s no 16 year old. Be free.

And if he actually did turn 16 already, he wouldn't be able to play as a senior in the WCAC. Pretty sure any 19 year olds have to turn 19 during the academic year.

Also - can we go back to slandering coaching rather than kids?
Anonymous
No slander of any kids has occurred. The facts are the facts and it’s not an insult to acknowledge someone’s actual age. It’s just a truth. Moving on!
