No he did not. Just like if any US local law enforcement arrests a parent, that child can't just go home with anyone who asks for them. There are procedures, none of which include a school board member. |
Yes the father has that opportunity, presuming he was apprehended. Generally parents choose to stay with their children, and take them with them during deportation., |
ICE LIES. Anyone with two brain cells see this BS game being played. The dad entered legally, filed for asylum at the border, has NO criminal record and was taking his kid to school when he was apprehended. He never fled. They left his car running. ICE Officer's tried to lure the mother outside using the son, and her husband begged her to stay inside. They thought they would be able to leave their son with another adult in the home (they were there to give approval) and ICE refused. “Imagine the trauma of a child being picked up by masked and armed agents, seeing their parents in handcuffs and being used to attempt to lure their mother out of the house and into danger. What has become of our country?” https://www.mprnews.org/story/2026/01/21/ice-detains-5year-old-minnesota-boy-lawyer-says-agents-used-him-as-bait |
I guess we should believe the media stories that people who lived in the house who were outside asked to take the kid, ICE refused, And ICe used the kid as bait to bring out the people who lived in the house. And ICE did not detain the people outside who lived in the house. |
Your narrative is pure fiction. |
Truth clearly hurts. |
I wouldn’t just leave my child out there alone. |
Right, because ICE can’t even vet whether US citizens are US citizens based on passport documentation. ICE determined the best course of action was to detain a 5 year old child and send him to Texas. There was no other humane solution to be found. |
And that's why the dad DIDN'T LEAVE HIS KID you sick POS. |
Self deportation is of course far more humane than playing chicken with ICE. |
