Suffice it to say, there is zero respect. But it is very funny. Gallows humour.

Meanwhile, the Russians and Ukrainians are making enormous advances in drone warfare every month. The battlefield has changed forever. This is an incredibly important time for militaries everywhere. The speed of change is phenomenal.

And the US has decided to confront these threats…. by bringing every general in the world to Virginia for a lecture about grooming.

That’s the priority of a Fox News host as SecDef.

Hate this.

America has made huge advances in drone technology too. We will have a leaner and older force.

No. The US is woefully behind in drone warfare. Russians and Ukrainians are producing about 3-4 million drones a year now. Drones alone are killing about 12-15,000 men per month in Ukraine presently. And the technology is changing month by month. Both sides are proving to very adaptable - because it's war and necessity is the mother of all invention. Plus there are another 15,000 or so that die every month from traditional methods - artillery and bullets.

China is learning. North Korea is learning.

And the US has Pete Hegseth and his American flag handkerchiefs and his need for a powder room for his effete sensibilities.

It's a big problem.

My neighbor says they are making a safety plan for their family.....it does seem not good.

What does that entail? A safety plan from…?

Anything horrific happening in and around DC. I would assume a meet up plan and food/water storage. I think a lot of people do not trust what is happening or what might happen.

I appreciate you passing this on. I’m disappointed with the national guardmen that I’ve spoken with who seemed to be all in for Maga. Glad to hear not everyone in the military likes what is going on.

It’s the smart play to be all-in MAGA. Ad a Guardsman you get free rein to assault people you hate. You get paid to do so, and free arms and protective gear.

Nobody smart is Democrat. Too dangerous.

Whether an individual service member is able to resign or retire is entirely at the discretion of the government.

“Mucking up the gears from within” is sabotage and possibly treason, and not something one wants to be involved in while subject to the military justice system.

The UCMJ says that not only can you refuse to follow an unlawful order, it is in fact your duty to not follow an unlawful order.

*"Unlawful' is determined after the fact when the winner writes history

Do you mean this?

I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

I'm kind of shocked that this isn't attracting the same level of attention as the Kimmel/FCC thing (which I think was and is a big deal). This is extremely concerning, and no one knows that better than military and natsec officials and experts in this area. I can't figure out if the general cynicism of people who work in this area is part of the problem or if everyone else is panicking just like me but just doing so silently.

It's this.

People are scared.

This is so fabulously stupid that every friend and foe is laughing heartily at the US.

Well, more than usual.

CNN chyron right now..."SECRETARY HEGSETH: TO OUR ENEMIES, FAFO"

And now he's criticizing the promotion of "conformists" as he demands that the military brass conform to his standards.

This is the most cringiest thing I have seen since Trump yesterday. Just a totally unhinged and amateurish presentation.

Utterly and completely embarrassing.

So far it’s just a big Anti DEI speech with a lot of reverting to old policies
