Horrifying organ donation article

To remove organs a brain perfusion test and a brain activity test have to be done.

There’s never been a case in human history of someone who shows no perfusion to the brain regaining consciousness.

If a patient passes perfusion or it’s not done, that’s called murder and has been illegal for a while.

Pediatric hospitals too. It shouldn’t be legal, but it is. They’re harassing families and trying to not only get the families to donate, but to do so on their timeline (I recall a case of a braindead child, where the organ procurement crew told the family to wait until the patient experienced cardiac death, rather than allow the family to discontinue organ support. I can’t recall what the family chose, but remember the organ team feeling like circling vultures.)

Totally OUTRAGEOUS. Why do we think hospitals are allowing this travesty?
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Basta*ds. They know how to maximize evil.

Never was such a profound tautology written

"There has never, ever been a case of a person correctly diagnosed as brain dead where that person has recovered any degree of consciousness," agrees Dr. Robert Truog

Am seeing whistleblowers coming out from having worked in the industry, and piling onto to the atrocities. One said she immediately removed her name as a donor when she saw for herself what goes on. And recommends the same to all of her loved ones.

NP. This is what you're referring to?

"Critics point to rare cases like Jahi McMath, a 13-year-old girl who was declared brain dead in 2013. Her family refused to withdraw life support for years. She continued to grow and even went through puberty. Jahi never recovered and eventually died. But her case and others have prompted calls to change the law."

That only reinforces that people in these circumstances are dead.

You do understand that in that circumstance there were kids at several other hospitals who were going to die without those organs, right? Do you really think it is horrifying to harvest organs from a dead body in order to save the lives of other people?

Indeed... And with one quick look at his biography, anyone literate will see how much credibility he has.

Kids will now live who would previously have been unethically harvested. That is a win.

What’s horrifying is the profit-driven organ harvesters pretending to be some higher power. They aren’t. They can only speculate who will never recover and who will. After all, “brain dead” is NOT dead. Shame on the medical industry for creating all of this confusion in our society, just for profit.

Please note:
We almost never hear anything on this forum about how to keep our organs healthy. Imagine that.

DP. There aren't enough dead people and they want to expand the definition of death.

You me brain is definitely not in tip-top shape. Walnuts, choline, olive oil and education would do wonders for it.
