I'm an upper middle class white female, and yes, my personal reality has "actually changed."

First, I lost my job, due to The Felon's budget cuts.

Next, my best friend who loves politics is profoundly depressed due to the antics of The Felon and his fascist supporters.

Third, my husband, who is from another country, is now talking about returning to that country.

Fourth, I got another job, where everyone is on edge because of The Felon's actions. No one knows what's coming.

Fifth, things are getting more expensive every day. I can't afford casual evenings out because restaurant prices have skyrocketed, but my salary has not.

That's it for the moment. There's more, but it's too depressing to talk about. Suffice to say, yes, the world here grows darker daily.

Can't you get a job that's not dependent on taking tax money from the public or the future generations being buried in debt.

Like Musk who makes his living off of government income? Or Trump who gets paid by the taxpayers to play golf at his own resorts?

Or Biden his wife and adult children - living on the taxpayer dole for 50 years and counting!

Career politician for the welfare win!

Lol. So true actually.

There is no pleasure living in the US due to politics, standards of living, how expenses it is, the lack of real freedoms, half of the country engulfed by the maga cult even when facts stare them in the face, a broken and cruel SCOTUS who insists on unlimited executive power that has sealed our fates as a country, AI taking over, and tech bros being clearly in charge, our way of life being dismantled, education on its knees…there is no amount of praying that will ever see us through, it’s over for all of us. It’s too late.

Ever get fired and replaced with foreign worker , courtesy of your own federal government ?

Everyone’s been fired or laid off by the time they’re 45. Unless you’re public union.

Yes it's the lint trap for the least valuable workers on planet earth.

They are tied with government funded non-profit parasites . What a gaggle of less than zeros.

I would actually like to see many of these words scrapped from the English lexicon. Better than some of the words that Biden and the left wanted removed and replaced.
mother
father
assimilation
woman

And, then there are the euphemisms the left pushes...
individual who breastfeeds
undocumented immigrant
irregular migration

And, let's not forget how Biden, et al redefined "infrastructure." What a joke.

The worst part of the Biden term though is his actions.

These are the euphemisms that the right pushes:

unborn child (fetus)
illegal alien (non-US citizen who is undocumented)
marriage (something that is only between a biological man and a biological woman)
states rights = states should be allowed to make their own rules when I don't like a federal law
virtue signal = when liberals stand up for the rights of others
white genocide (lol)
Christian = mostly they mean evangelicals (Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, etc. are not really "Christians")
parental rights = telling public schools what and how to teach

Not to mention awful words like:

*Anchor baby
*Catch and release (they're not animals!)

What is a fetus BUT an unborn child?

Has there EVER been an account of a human fetus EVER becoming something OTHER than a child when born?

What are you expecting a human fetus to be? A dolphin? A goldfish? A puppy? A bicycle? An iPad?

But oddly enough, they always come out as human babies. Crazy, huh!?!

Yes, when God has his druthers, plenty of fetuses end up born as “corpses”, or expelled as “miscarriages”. When God is feeling especially spicy, fetuses are “coffin born”; that is, forcibly expelled by fetid gasses from their died-in-childbirth mother’s decomposing body.

When born to immigrants, said fetuses become “anchor babies”. When born to black women, they become “criminals” and “moochers” and “products of a broken home.” When babies are forcibly stolen from their mothers and sold to white Christian evangelicals, they become “God’s blessings.” To the fundie freaks, they are “property” and “domain”.

And thus you see, Fetuses only become “children” to Republicans in very limited cases.
