Trump has not “overthrown the constitution”. The Marines and National Guard are not “brown shirts” but a response force to stop a riot. Trump is not the first president to do this.

All that Trump does is within the authority of the Executive Branch. Activist judges in the Judicial Branch are the ones acting outside its authority.

The reason we keep hearing false claims of “Trump has scrapped the Constitution” is that when Democrats get back in power, they are the ones who will disregard the Constitution saying, “Well, Trump did it so we can too.”

There have been many Democrats saying the Constitution is outdated, racist, and the big whopper by president Dingleberry Obama, “It limits the good the government can do, negative rights for the government.”

You are partially right. The brown shirts are ICE. The Marines and NG are there as an intimidation tactic in response to nothing with “riots” as an excuse. I am kind of glad that they are being deployed because, unlike the ICE scum, a majority of the soldiers and Marines are good Americans. They might end up being the people that protect Americans from the administration's orders in the end.

I say this as someone whose grandparents paid taxes to support schools that their own children couldn’t attend — and as someone who skimmed Project 2025, and understood that a private citizen who called for the execution of Black and Brown teens — without evidence to support the crimes that they were imprisoned for — would in no way have my best interests or well-being at heart.
