Uh, he helped quell the riots because Minneapolis couldn't do it alone. That's your talking point? All you'll do is remind the rest of the country why they voted against TFG in 2020.

This was a savvy choice.

I think Kelly was a better choice. I like Walz but he's not exciting, and Americans are so superficial and want exciting.

Have you heard Kelly speak? He’s about as exciting as rock.🪨

This was Kelly’s problem IMO.

He doesn’t sound old. He speaks with clarity and force. He comes off as believing in the American dream, not cynical. He is intelligent and funny. He is the one who called the emperor’s new clothes. Shapiro would have his career ruined if he had to go up against the stuff that would be thrown at him. It would be terrible to watch and a constant theme. I think he is better off in the long run.

He doesn’t sound old. Watch his inaugural address. He’s funny and down to earth.

Yes, I can already hear the phony baloney ads GOP runs hoping to scare fearful, elderly people.

"They'll come for you too"

Very few Americans knew who he was until like a week ago (and most probably still don't) so it's not too late to just change it. It needs a sharper sound at the end to be catchier on the campaign trail.

This is legit one of the dumber things I’ve read.

Why -- it's just a marketing thing. Campaigns are a lot about marketing. When you sell a product you want it to have a catchy name.

There’s already a meme about Balls to the Walz or something close to that. I like the sound of Waltz better too but it’s working so far.

Changing how he pronounces his name to market him as a VP has got to be the looniest things said on here. And sure wouldn't enhance his attribute of being trustworthy. Can you imagine Donald? "He used to be a Minnesotan but you know he changed his name? I think he's German now."

I assume you know that Trump used to be Drumpf.

I keep seeing idiots say things like this. Show me where “Minnesota burned to the ground”.

And got reelected! By the people who live there!

Weird. What a burden.

“Who's sitting in a bar in Racine, Wisconsin, saying: 'You know what we really need? We need to ban Animal Farm.' Nobody is. "

This man gets it.

Sounds like JD Vance who’s on his third or fourth name.

Can you translate this to English for the rest of us?

I love this:

“What a monster!” Walz quipped on CNN. “Kids are eating and having full bellies so they can go learn and women are making their own healthcare decisions ... So, if that’s where they want to label me, I’m more than happy to take the label.”

Harris needs an old white man to help her get elected. Interesting.
