| I think Gerry is handsome for his ahe and very nice but there’s something about him that is very off-putting. I feel like he’s presented as being in the power position and he talks to the women almost like he is Dr. Phil or something. Like he’s doing them a favor. He’s sweet but in an almost saccharine way. |

I think the amount of attention this is getting is absurd. I guess nobody remembers that there was a version of this done by another network (Fox maybe?) years ago with an older Bachelor and older women. Don't think it did that well in the ratings. The bachelor in that one was probably in his 60s.
