The Golden Bachelor

I think the country is going to get behind this show and root for Gerry and the ladies. It'll bring tears to the eyes of the viewers when an older lady gets rejected. And we will cheer for the prospect of love at an older age!

Looking forward to a more genuine Bachelor series.

I read a few articles about it on different forums, and the comments, and I haven't seen people so excited about a show in ages!

It’s unsurprising that there are a gaggle of women willing to prostitute themselves at any age for a “catch” of a man.
My 82yo uncle lost his most recent partner this year and already has had multiple dates and has a new “serious” girlfriend. He is in good health and attractive for an 82yo, he travels often and is wealthy-ish. His most recent gf was someone he met mere months after his wife of 30+ years died a few years ago. He seems incapable of being alone for more than a few weeks. And he had had no issue finding willing women.
My mom, his younger sister, has been a happy widow with no dating at all for 3 years now.

If this does well, I’m sure there will be a Golden Bachelorette, so maybe we don’t all freak out about the concept.

Age of Love did this with the tennis player Mark Philippoussis as the contestant. Take a wild guess which direction he went.

Martha Stewart has joked that she wants to do it. But they'll probably choose a popular contestant who doesn't win to be the first Golden Bachelorette, like they usually do.

So much bad plastic surgery and teeth. The golden bachelor looks super leathery.

He looks pretty good compared to the women. No bad vibes from me at all. Props to the women on their confidence and great energy. Bet they’d have aged gracefully without intervention.

They look good to me, and no worse than the Bachelor. Some of them appear to have had nothing done. Some have clearly had botox and filler and maybe a subtle facelift but I don't see anyone who looks trashy or embarrassing.

I wonder if they will get drunk, cry, and fcuk like all the other bachelor times.

It’s all bullshit.

Give us the tea!

The 75-year old Sandra is stunning. She's really lovely and has great style. I think she's the oldest but looks the youngest

Nancy is giving Kim Cattrall x Kelly Ripa and is local (Alexandria). Anyone know her?
