The Golden Bachelor

Refreshing...and really hard to watch when a woman doesn't get a rise. I feel their rejection so much more than the regular Bachelor and Bachelorette.

I think it's way less scripted and more believable than the regular Bachelor.

It's notable how important it is to the women just to be heard and noticed in small ways. Gerry is very attentive and compassionate. Women of that age are starving for that. I think this version of Bach is refreshing.

I think it's so important to so many women, and it's something that a lot of us feel is lacking in our relationships. It's nice to see them articulate it clearly and him responding to it well.

“Heroics”?

59 years old and my lesson is not to get lip injections and to be glad I’ve taken care of my skin.

+1 the fillers are ghastly. They don't really look good on middle-aged women like the kardashian sisters and they look horrendous on old people. Fillers should be illegal past the age of 30.

I watched it for the first time tonight, I lasted about ten minutes. The women all make me cringe and I'm almost 70. I have a bunch of friends my age and older and they do not look like that, they look like normal ageing people.

Yes. The younger women in the group are the ones who actually seem so “old”. And they are all a little too highly and trying to be cute.

Why would someone under 30 get filler? The whole point is to fill in areas that have hollowed out with age.

DCUM is seriously the most miserable place on the Internet. Everywhere else online, people are charmed by the show and think the women look great.

He totally has the hots for Leslie. He likes a number of the others, but seemed most attracted to her.

Did they show something about that last night (episode 2)? I totally missed that.

No, not on tv in an article.
