Just listened to the Chief on a Silver Spring zoom meeting. Those carjackers were 13,14,and 15.

They're probably already back on the street. Total absence of any real parenting. Yet if anything bad were to happen to these precious youngsters next time they try this stunt again, the parents will say, "he was such a good kid, so kind to everyone, wouldn't harm a fly, loved school, would never carjack anyone, etc."

You are clueless about what cycles of poverty do to family systems. Educate yourself.

The criminals love how the bleeding hearts in this area invent excuses for their behavior. The criminals say thank you! They really appreciate that people think they don’t understand what they’re doing which enables them to avoid any consequences.

Well, those are certainly ironic responses.

Not that poster, but I grew up poor. It is more than poverty. Because overwhelmingly, most people are law abiding. Including poor people.

It’s not just poverty per se. It’s institutional racism embedded in our public policy that has effectively oppressed generations of peoples.

Oppression is bad. But it does not generally lead to violence against innocent people. Something else is going on here. If we refuse to examine it, we will not end it.
