| Are Republicans really trying to pretend like candidate quality matters over someone who will reliably vote with the "team"? They have already admitted that's all that matters -- see Herschel Walker. |
Proves the political elite point. Blue collar folk are not giving 100 to anything if they can’t pay their bills. |
Dem here. No, I'm not. But I'm not going to vote for a stroke victim on principle. Unfortunately for you/us, Dems are intelligent and want candidates fully capable of rising to the occasion and leading with erudite passion. The GOP would vote for a potato as long as it was willing to ban abortion. |
Sure, campaign for candidates with better policies, better health, better temperament, and better integrity during the primary. However after the primary is over, there should be no qualms about voting for a Democratic candidate who had a stroke over a dishonest, fascist, fraud GOP candidate. Stop feeding the trolls, they are out to torpedo a good (not perfect) Democratic candidate so that GOP can take over the senate and McConnell can block all ob Biden's court nominations. Understand what is at stake Democrats and Independents! |
You have idiotic principles. |
You're kidding right? Anyone with a mental impairment as serious as a stroke has decreased faculties. His literal job is think of legislation and policy affecting the entire country. Its not like he's running for foreman of a coal plant. He is not a good or perfect candidate. He's flat-lined. Speaking of which, when is Feinstein stepping down? |
| Those of you trashing Fetterman clearly have issues with those with disabilities or differing abilities. So I'm calling the bigots for what they are. Difficulty with speech does not mean mentally impaired. There is nothing to indicate that he is mentally impaired or has worse odds of keeling over than the dozens of 80 year olds in Congress right now. |
He doesn't have a mental impairment. |
Control of the Senate and/or House is what's desired by both parties. It's politics as usual. |
Man, she really does live rent free in y'alls heads, doesn't she? Good for her. LOL. |
He does not have a stutter. He had a stroke caused by a blood clot. He is also not releasing his medical records. If he wants to be re-categorized as disabled have at it, but there is a big difference between a speech impediment caused by anxiety and one cause by a debilitating medical condition that cut off oxygen to his brain. |
I think he’s wildly unqualified. What has he accomplished to earn the nomination? He had to supported by his parents into his 40s and his greatest accomplishment seems to be running a small town into the ground. Why don’t you share what you think his qualifications are? |
That too. I already thought he was a poor candidate pre-stroke. Like what happened to Senators who were lawyers? Judges? Former governors? |
lol These are bs talking points. Now we know how unserious you are. |
NP. You sound like those imbeciles who were insisting McAuliffe was winning right up until the election was called and Wolf Blitzer looked like was going to cry. Honest to god, enough with the quips. Get your head out of the sand. Democrats have had 6 months to recognize Fetterman was a poor candidate and a YEAR to focus on inflation instead of other crap. Did neither. |
