This. In past years pre covid, there were some casts that were at the Tea to greet guests. Once they send out info for the Tea, you will know if there will be performers there.

So, basically, we should not buy any tickets for anything until Oct. 24?

Last year we performed at the tea party show and when we were leaving, kids who were dressed to attend the tea were arriving at the location. We were not asked to “dress” for the tea party last year. We attended many tea parties before our DD was even a student. Pre COVID it was amazing and memorable. I encourage you to attend if you can. It’s a great experience.

Can someone clarify what was said about the performance groups? That split will happen this weekend, right? And does that mean our dancers’ rehearsal schedules will change? Right now, I’m not seeing any A/B splitting until later in October, so I’m confused.

Attend everything in the portal and visit it regularly for any updates. Snow angel will get split up (other possible groups) so if your kid gets a piece of paper with A/B your times will change (usually shorten as we were Snow last year).

Then they assign jewels later in October— this assigns some final rehearsals and your shows. Most will get one jewel - 6-7 shows. Party is a two jewel role because of fewer rehearsals the scene is large and complicated but the group is small.

Some roles get broken into A and B groups tomorrow. That is just the group that they follow for the weekend practices.
At the end of October they will get assigned a Cast and then will do rehearsals with their Jewel who they will be performing with. Once Jewels are assigned, A and B no longer matter

Ok this is making a bit more sense. I guess I’m confused because my DD is a mushroom and, right now at least, rehearsals for that role are showing “ALL” till nearly the end of October and then it switches over to “A/B” grouping, but it does that around the time we were told they would be split into casts and the A/B grouping won’t matter. Maybe mushroom isn’t one of the early performance group split roles?

Follow the portal each week and you can't go wrong.
Sometimes with the Littles they will start with everyone altogether before they split them up.

Yeah they are exploring the idea of a backdrop at the Warner where every dancer will have a chance to be photographed, but still not sure it’ll happen. Sounds like if you can swing it your best bet is to volunteer, so you’re backstage to snap your own photo.

JK it just disappeared. I must have looked right as they were tinkering
