I just saw that and was so curious. Why the move after only 7 seasons. Is her daughter graduating high school, so a natural time for a change? Houston seems like such a major shift after a career spent on the east coast.

I think maybe her daughter is starting high school next year, so also a fine time to move?

Houston is a much bigger and higher profile company than the Washington Ballet.

Anyone else have a kid leaving rehearsal in tears? It sounds like some of the harsher teachers have been particularly rough!

Oh, boy! No tears from my DD and her cohort as far as I know, but she did mention today that a number of people were absent from rehearsal/showed up very late?

There are always students who get away with not being at rehearsals.
