The APS Meeting Scoreboard is interesting. 0 minutes spent on academics, equity or learning loss recovery. But 23% of time spent on promotional items. What does the school board do again? |
Or you know.....a little thing called....the pandemic! ![]() |
Compare March vs. June 2020. Same. As noted in the newsletter, those who were in grades K-6 in the 2019-2020 school year (now in grades 2-8) who left last year did NOT come back (1,400+ students). At least another 500 not enrolling in new PK and K classes. |
Ok and...? Focus on the kids and families who showed up. Not APS' job to figure out who moved or changed to private or VV or whatever. |
Where are all the enrollment numbers coming from? I thought the first "official" count was on September 30. |
Wow - this is pretty detailed and informative: https://www.arlingtonparentsforeducation.org/recaps/blog-post-title-three-3kpbn |

this is so funny!! Sounds just like our school board! |
Relevant to what? |
A lot of APEs left APS. They want personal outreach from APS to air their gripes. This group really, really, really wants to be catered to. |
They need some to stroke their egos. Soothe their tantrums. Pathetic. |
First time poster (well, in this thread)
APE and the other group (forgot their name) have become echo chambers. Like the media, if you only spend your time in Breitbart/HuffingtonPost and then come to cage matches in DCUM or AEM, you're going to sound like you're in a cult. I guess you enjoy bringing up the same conversations from a year ago over and over again, so nothing will change. Cheers! |
Great troll move by citing Breitbart when many APE members are actively involved in Arlington Dems |
Interesting observation. As a member of AEM and APE this definitely sounds like AEM, much less so APE. |
DP. Great troll move by misreading PP’s post. ![]() |
