Imagine thinking any of these rich elitists on either side gives a damn about regular Americans. They despise regular Americans. They pay big bucks so they and their kids never come in contact with regular Americans. Blue team, red team…it’s the same team. And we’re suckers for buying into this oligarch war-mongering illusion of choice theater.

Chris Cuomo of all people just nailed it. Red team, blue team…it’s the same team. These conventions are all prole theater with the same fat cats, mega corps, and Wall Street crooks controlling the show.

It’s amazing how Cuomo finally tells the truth now that he’s left CNN.

The defense and pharmaceutical industries own all the cable news networks (CNN, MSNBC, Fox but especially MSNBC and CNN) and guess who pushed for lower cost prescriptions for seniors from Canada and pushed for no new wars and getting along with Putin to fix up the Middle East/Syria, and avoid a new Cold War, inc. for Washington?

The deep state hates Trump esp Big Pharma and War, Inc that own all the commercials and news stations with their paid advertising

Trump tried to overthrow our government when he lost the election. Every good American should hate him.

I guess you are missing where big media treats Trump with kid gloves and favors his appearances over the Dems at every turn (with the DNC this week being the exception because the networks always carry these conventions)

Your post is a surprise to me because in general I have found “European” people to understand the American political system better than you seem to.

I knew it was correct. Voting Democrat has always been good for my pocket book as well as my conscience.

Yep. And it was the best thing that came out of Clinton's speech. I don't know why more people are not talking about this. The Democrats should be ramming this information over and over on the airways. People have to hear things seven times before it begins to sink in.

Then you are a moron and can reap the consequences. This is not a platform for Palestinian A to speak out about their issues, I say this as someone who has been and is a staunch Gaza supporter.

As for Jewish speakers, I saw Josh Shapiro but he was there as a governor, not as a person of Jewish faith. Also, politics is never about 100% this or that, it’s about timing. Like it or not but politics is never about idealism, there is a whole lot of gray and a smidge of black and white.

Name call all you want; it’s the DNC who are cowards and decided that kowtowing to Zionists was their priority, to the point of denying even a single Palestinian-American the opportunity to speak. They’ll lose my vote if they can’t fix that.

Go take a hike. After tumultuous 8-9 months of infighting within the party, we have reached this fragile unity, people like you can sit on the sidelines and sulk all you want. We don’t want your vote, you can reminisce about the good old days when Trump is back.

And it will be worse. Harris at least tries to walk the very thin line with being supportive of Israel while commiserating over Arab deaths. She has come out and verbally chastised Netanyahu about the wide-scale Arab death toll and the need for humanitarian aid to the Gazans.

Trump is a very, very pro-Israel supporter and has said nothing about protection or support for the Arabs. Trump has made no objections to Israel's defense of their borders and the singleminded determination of the Israelis to destroy Hamas even if it means horrific Arab civilian sacrifices.

So, while there are Arab sympathetic objectors to the current administration, voting for Trump or sitting out the election will actually be worse for US support of Palestinians. PP who says that Harris would lose your support, do you really realize that Trump will be worse for the Palestinians than Harris? She at least supports humanitarian aid for the Gazans and decries the violence against civilians that Hamas is using as human shields. Trump will not verbally support the Arabs, does not discourage Israeli violence against Palestinians and does not support humanitarian aid to Gaza.

So, why do you think that you supporting Trump or sitting out the election carries the message you want to send?

Why weren't there protests at the RNC, hmmm?

Because Dems actually care about Gaza. They are just trying to three an extremely delicate needle to keep the party unified for the election. But some Dem voters want more on Gaza and think protesting can get concessions, like. Speaker at the Convention. Understandable. But not helpful to getting Harris elected. And if she isn’t elected, Gaza will be wiped off the map.

So why no protestors at the R convention? Because everyone knows Trump doesn’t give a flying flip about Gaza and there are zero concession to be had. And Rs would be fine with protestors, who they would pain as violent leftists.

In related news, Rs would also be fine with LGBTQ protestors at their convention. Dems would actually care.

The problem is the Gaza protestors are like BERNIE bros. They want all their demands met now for they re sitting in a corner and sulking. That they don’t get that compromise is needed to reach a larger goal. They refuse to be team players, then yell when they aren't in the starting lineup.

Don’t take the bait of obvious Republicans. It’s not even fragile unity, the GOP just hates the fact that the Democratic Party is a unified force. If Trump gets back in, that’s it for Gaza and the Palestinians (and for Ukraine). That’s it for Muslims in America in general, too, actually.

That stat was amazing. 50 million jobs under Democrats to 1 million jobs under Republicans. FIFTY to ONE. Even if you just think Democrats got lucky, with a 50 year run of luck like that, why would you bet against them?

Because the airways are owned by people and corporations who want the GOP back.

Making room for one prominent Palestinian-American speaker would have been the right thing to do.

Instead, the DNC powerbrokers decided that bending over backwards to demonstrate their allegiance to Israel was the expedient thing to do.

Maybe it is from a polling perspective but Harris has lost my vote. If she’s too much of a coward to insist on what’s right at a convention, she certainly don’t have the courage to stand up to Netanyahu and the Jewish lobby if elected.

Trump changed. He was talking about deaths earlier this year and pushing for an end to the war. Now he’s really ramping up the rhetoric even using Palestinian as a slur and calling Schumer Palestinian ? but I think he’s doing this to get Jewish donations but once he’s in, he will push for an end.

Trump didn’t start one new war for Washington from 2016-2020. That’s why they hate him.

He didn't need to "start" any wars - he was giving China and Russia everything they wanted.

What wars has Biden started? Where are US troops deployed abroad fighting wars?

How did he give them what they wanted? He placed more sanctions on Russia and tarriffs on China.

Gave them what they wanted? How?

Tellingly, China didn’t encroach on Taiwan and Russia didn’t encroach on Ukraine when Trump was in office.

Putin invaded Crimea in 2014. Stopped then returned when Pres Biden came to office.

The rest of the world doesn’t fear or respect Democrat leaders or policy. They think they are beta males and weak.

They think Trump is strong and intimidating because he’s unpredictable

Walz isn’t rich. There were people on this website slamming him for that, saying they don’t trust him to run the country if he wasn’t able to make himself wealthy at his age.

Walz’s 5 or 6 public pensions make him a de facto multi-millionaire and he is beholden to the same caliber of ruthless and greedy mega donors who control Vance and Trump. It’s theater.

And the point of the tweet was to highlight how phony it is for Walz to snipe the GOP ticket as Ivy elitists when Ivy elitist fat cats who live in the ritziest enclaves in America and send their kids to the most elite private schools have been featured all week by the DNC.

Okay, so you don't know what the 'ef a pension is, and stupid to post about your ignorance. Check

You are quite possibly a troll, but if not, empowering Trump is a horrible idea for Palestine; and you are a bad person for harming Palestinians in that way.

The absolutely most powerful part of last night was the footage from January 6. And replaying Trump's egging on the rioters. And reminding people that several died in the riot.

This should be run on a loop until election day.

If you wanna support MAGA, then you need to be reminded that you support treason. Violence. And actions that go against democracy. PERIOD.
