NEW: Internal CBP data provided & confirmed by CBP sources reveals thousands of “special interest aliens” from mostly Middle Eastern countries have been apprehended by Border Patrol while crossing into U.S. illegally over last 2 years.

Syria: 538
Yemen: 139
Iran: 659
Iraq: 123
Afghanistan: 6,386
Lebanon: 164
Egypt: 3,153
Pakistan: 1,613
Mauritania: 15,594
Uzbekistan: 13,624
Turkey: 30,830

Date range 10/1/2021 - 10/4/2023

These are Border Patrol apprehensions between ports of entry only, this data does not include CBP encounters at ports of entry.

Border Patrol sources tell me they have extreme concerns about who is coming into the country because they have little to no way of vetting people from these special interest countries. I’m told unless they have committed a crime previously in the US, or they are on some sort of federal watchlist, there’s no way to know who they are because most of their home countries don’t share data/records with the US so there is nothing to match a name to when BP agents run fingerprints.

A special interest alien is a term used by the U.S. government to refer to people coming from countries that have conditions that favor or harbor terrorism, or pose a potential national security to the U.S.

How much vetting did the 9/11 hijackers get before securing US visas and flying into the country legally? Most were from Saudi Arabia, which is not listed above.

Clearly not enough. And, 9/11 changed things. We now have more thorough screening and airports and other places.
Except - not at the border. We have no way of knowing the backgrounds of many of the millions coming in. Unless they have committed a crime in the US, information about their criminal history is hard to come by.

We are able to up national security and airports because those people are already US citizens or have proper documentation because they needed it to fly into our country..... Their home country..... As we really only have two countries bordering us.....
Everyone else typically comes by air....

Now at the border, how do you suspect we know the backgrounds of every single person trying to enter the country when there is no documentation or paperwork.... Now if you want to completely close borders to absolutely everyone then that's a discussion we can have. But again, like others have said we need comprehensive immigration reform and a lot of money poured into it now so we can move these wait lists and get people processed through the system.... If the system was running smoothly and a hearing took weeks, not years more and more people would be incentivized to go through it and not cross the border illegally.... Then our border security could focus on those. Trying to cross illegally because it would be more evident than when you have millions of people trying to walk across at the same time and only a handful of bad guys..... If most good guys were filtered through our system which they would be, if it was functional then it would be pretty easy to pick up the outliers

President Biden's open door border policy has almost certainly allowed many terrorists to enter the US undetected and with no ability to monitor their activities.

Today, Iran threatened the US with terrorist acts if the US enters the current conflict involving Isreal & the Gazastrip. I believe that this threat should be taken seriously.

We need to control our US borders now. Strict control.

THANK YOU. So sick of these simpletons insisting more apprehensions is somehow a good thing.

Anonymous wrote:Again, I would happily vote for a candidate that had an actual plan for strengthening our borders and immigration system.... It needs a 100% overhaul and until Congress gets behind that nothing that any president will do will change what is currently happening... No I'm not saying there isn't room for some improvements but an average 5 to 7-year wait time for an introductory hearing is absolutely batshit crazy and no one is going to go through that system... It needs to be a streamlined comprehensive policy and we need to pour money into it... But where do you think that money comes from?...... With with corporate loopholes and tax breaks, we will never have the money to sustain any type of comprehensive immigration reform. All the Republicans do is fan the flames and can never come up with a single alternative and actually commit to funding it.... See also healthcare in this country... How many years did they b**** and moan about Obamacare saying they were going to replace it with something so cheap and so marvelous and over 15 years later we still have nothing from them, not even a rough draft

Here’s a policy that would cost pennies compared to the current millions we’re throwing down toilet at “root causes”: hire a fleet of buses to transport every illegal immigrant back to their country. Keep these buses at the border and pretty soon, migrants will get the message that it just isn’t worth the trip because they know they’ll be sent back immediately.

But we all know Democrats will b**** and moan about that being “inhumane” or some other absurdity. And so, we’re stuck with millions of illegal immigrants crossing into our country and staying here. Because Democrats have made it clear that they can.

DP. That’s all you’ve got? JFC you are dense. Not to mention, a tedious gaslighter.

It needs to be shut down, immediately. It’s already too late.

Keep it open. Guarantees democrats lose in 2024. Damage might already be non reversible. Why would any worker vote for democrats that have done everything they could to replace US workers with cheap foreign labor .

Biden is tightening things up right now (or at least creating the appearance of doing something) because he is scared of losing in 2024.

If he is re-elected, have no doubts he will get right back to it. Fool me once…

He's really not tightening up anything.
20 miles of border barrier will do nothing. We need much more than that.
It is a gesture to make it LOOK like he is doing something to get state Democratic leaders off his back.
Biden has always been about optics.

That’s exactly what I’m getting at. Let’s not be fooled.
