+1. It’s a felony to order federal government workers to further a partisan political campaign. https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2019/10/29/president-trump-may-have-violated-criminal-provisions-hatch-act/#click=https://t.co/bhvV7GUG7V |
New poll from Suffolk University and USA Today shows most Americans want Trump to stop stonewalling. Asked if the White House has an obligation to comply with the subpoenas from Congress, 66% say yes. Only 26% say no. Even 35% of Republicans say the White House ought to comply.

I underestimated Nancy’s genius. This puts Trump in a box. Shadenfreud. |

How do you not know that there are representatives on both sides in the room examining and cross examining every witness? Did you think there weren't GrOPers in the room? |
GrOPers
This is a new one. I like it. I think I might actually have to start paying for media. The constant deleting of my cache is killing me. |
Seriously! |
Please do pay for media. Thanks! - wife of a journalist who has been laid off multiple times in newsroom downsizing bloodbaths |

NPR: State Dept's Catherine Croft to testify today that during her time at NSC she got "multiple calls from lobbyist Robert Livingston, who told me that Ambassador Yovanovitch should be fired" and that he called her "Obama holdover...associated with George Soros." |

Why should anyone care about this? Who is Robert Livingston? |
Because it is a stark example of how ugly partisanship and a right wing conspiracy about a political donor can contribute to ousting a highly respected ambassador. People actually believe it and peddle it around, without necessarily realizing that behind the scenes, they are being used for purposes that have nothing to do with these fake conspiracies. |
