These girl are 13 you may want the 09 girls thread.

Prior post was also boasting about 09 and 10 birth years.

Not the PP. But U13 (2008) still includes 12 year olds with late birthdays.

08 girl mom has a very sensitive spot, please correct my words.

It’ll be an easy win for them and wouldn’t be surprised they change around the brackets before March

Yep Arlington is too high, BSC too low. Needs adjustment.

BSC is going to get crushed. I can't believe they are in the third division.

Boy are you going to be disappointed in about two months...BSC will will at least win it's side of the group if not Championship for 3rd bracket.

Just have to wonder if you are Mclean, Metro or FCV parent. I'll make sure to bump your post in two months just as a reminder.

I said I would bump this after Jeff Cup. Eat crow buddy. With a win over Loudoun ECNL to top it off. Also, we only had 12 players. Not only that, the 2010's won top division and the 2009s won 2nd division. Bethesda and Michigan Nationals had the best showings of all the clubs that entered. Metro couldn't even make the final in the 5th group while McLean is MIA. Have a great day!

Not a poster involved but your bragging made me look up BSC’s results. Good job but let’s not get too chesty about it. It was a very weak Jeff cup and your DD team played the third bracket. BSC is 3rd in Maryland with a ranking of 30.61 and an ECNL club. You should easily beat all the teams in the bracket. Beach FC is a 28.78(11th in Va), Charlotte SA White 28.97(2nd team, 9th in NC), Pipeline SC ECRL 27.88(12th in the state of Maryland) and Loudoun 29.99(5th in Va). Congratulations on beating Loudoun. They have a similar ECNL record to your own.

This was not a strong Jeff cup field. Arlington played a similar weak 2nd bracket but did not win the final. Though Arlington did beat Maryland United(who won one game).

Let’s talk about the top bracket. In the top bracket Richmond cruised and VDA had a good tournament. Look at the results for the Maryland teams - Pipeline( 3-0 w, 1-2 L and 0-2 L) and Baltimore Celtic(0-11 L, 0-7 L and 1-6 L). Overall Jeff Cup leads one to think the teams in Maryland are not as strong as the Va teams(Richmond and VDA). Would BSC have done better vs pipeline?

Great question. As an Arlington 08 GA parent, I have no idea what the purpose of these posts are or why people want to gossip about this team. It's ridiculous to comment on young players and the coaching staff if you aren't a member of the team because you have no idea what its really like. If you are a member and are unhappy, then deal with it responsibly rather than in this forum. The post about mean girls was ridiculous as were the comments on race and private school.

No one has intentionally left this team and it doesn't appear that girls want to. Rather girls have been trying out for roster spots with more to do so after the ECNL announcement

The posts about parents hiding in their cars and extremely talented players sitting on the bench have no basis in fact. It appears that some people have issues with this team but they are not directly involved. If you are directly involved, talk to the coach or the club in person rather than gossiping on an anonymous site.

The team played impressively at JC against very strong opponents. The girls had three shut outs and lost in the finals on pks after a 1-1 tie through overtime. Go ahead and bash us all you want but don't pretend to speak for the team. Coach Mo was very happy and proud of the girls and told them so. My daughter has been motivated by Mo and really enjoys playing for him. Likely, not every player feels the same but isn't that always the case on sports teams?

If you are a team parent bashing the players, other families or coach, have the courage to do so in person or to go elsewhere.

DD not in your team but reading through the posts, apparently players or parents in your team, some directly involved are not happy with the coach and team performance. it could be bench players who want to have more minutes, or it could be top players who want to better result , or even midsection wants to change the style to fit her style thus be able to stand out and be noticed.

It is no different from other teams, we on the sideline enjoy watch the show/inflight.. or watch fights between clubs, you know FCV, Loudoun, Pipline..

Yep that stuff is internal to Arlington GA/ECNL No one else cares or knows anything about your team. Wait till a few leave for another club.

While a lot of these fights do occur all across the landscape, the amount of rancor directed at this one team seems wildly out of proportion. Thank goodness nobody has mentioned any of the kids by their names, but that's about the only thing that hasn't been done.

Yes. Don’t pay attention to us, it’s none of your business, but we were awesome at Jeff cup and will continue to tweet about all the good stuff and don’t want our kids to hear or see anything bad. I wish the kids and coach all the best. But perhaps try shutting up if you don’t want to hear or see more.

No better way to get the most out of your players than making them fear you

My DD’s team played them last night and he was literally berating his players from warm up to the parking lot after losing to us. I almost felt bad for the girls then I laughed and didn’t! 🤣 At 12 years old most of the kids will simply shutdown with his antics. His coaching style is going to cause some players to regress and maybe even bail for other area clubs!

Anyway, getting ready to adjust our trophy cabinet again 😉

This didn’t age well....how is that trophy?

Or it's a calculated move to increase the chances of winning of others sit out.
