I am fiscally conservative and I like these numbers. So if I were single issue, Gee then Dem it is, to quote PP.

How do we know these numbers are correct? Published by ACLU and study could be biased.

Not to mention that document is from 2002. More than 20 years ago.
Sorry, pp who posted that trash article. Your propaganda is false.

Yeah, BS article. 20 year old math.

Just think about the 100k migrants living in NYC. Getting a place to stay, food, healthcare, clothes. Costs about 3-4 billion per year said the Mayor.

How much tax money is NYC getting from them. Maybe a 100k for sales tax on items they are buying?

I’m a moderate Republican. The border control is most important to me

Controlling our US borders seems important to all moderates whether Republican, Democrat, or Independent.

+1. I'm a moderate Dem and can see that immigration has its limits. What to do though? How much do you want to spend on the border and how effective is it going to be? I'd like them to focus on the demand side of things as well (i.e., penalizing those that would exploit this labor). I'd like the GOP to put forth some concrete policies and legislation, not just sound bites.

They have. HR2
Schumer will not bring it up in the Senate.

Maybe if Joe would take border security more seriously, governors wouldn't have to take action.
Just a thought.

What do you bet people fleeing Israel for the US will be welcomed and helped due to imminent danger even though people fleeing constant danger in El Salvador are not welcome at all.

People will not flee Israel.
They will defend their homeland and get rid of the terrorists.
Of that, I am fairly certain.

Democrats refuse to mandate e-verify. which if they really were on the side of US workers would be a no brainer. But they are not. Republicans are the party of labor now.
