Joking, and not like, reviewing recent events, like when former potus said he "grabs them by the pussy," which turned out to be unfortunately accurate. The same people who can't see that fraud for who he is are the same as the AH boosters. The texts go far beyond Monty Python. In MP, there is a scene where a woman is falsely accused on being a witch, and the men debate it they should burn her or should try drowning her first to test if she’s really a witch (because witches would float rather than drown), with part of the joke being that obvious implication that she will end up dead either way regardless of whether she is a witch, which didn’t seem to register with the men. Depp took the joke a step beyond Heard being a witch and burning vs drowning, saying that once Heard was dead, he would f#ck her corpse to make sure she was really dead.

Depp’s comment inadvertently demonstrated that he couldn’t grasp the parody of misogyny as lampooned by Monty Python. In his text, he becomes one of the villagers, and wants to ratchet the violence up.

I can't remember the last time there has been such online viciousness all against a single celebrity in a he said/she said situation. The misogyny here makes me seriously worried for my daughter. If Amber Heard is lying and has had a multi-year plan to increase her profile, that is a bummer. But the thousands of people coming after her online, trying to end her career (the petition to have her removed from Aquaman) and publicly shamed - what in the world is happening? That guy from Empire (Smolett?) faked his assault for publicity and was convicted and didn't go through 10% of this hatred.

Absolutely agree. And so many fronting like Johnny’s avenging angels wtf? It’s clear he was/is an alcoholic and an addict who was prone to violent rages and who behaved beyond unprofessionally on set until Disney couldn’t take it anymore. I also agree! People are saying how likable he is and how horrible she is. The guy sent texts talking about burning and killing her. He's an unstable drug addict who definitely verbally abused her and probably wouldn't even remember if he hit her based on how messed up he was during the recordings. Also, I'm sick of people saying "why did she record their fight?", "She was setting him up!" in domestic abuse if you don't document the incidents, people are not going to believe you. That is the ONLY thing being proven by this case. She's definately messed up too, but he's the one dragging this out and is set on publicly humiliating her.

How can anyone support this guy after seeing his texts? Those are seriously sick. While I think AH also abused him and likely lied or at least exaggerated, there is no way you can convince me he is not a domestic abuser after seeing these. Normal men don’t talk like this. I didn't pay much attention before this trial so I just assumed they were both terrible. But now I realize that it was because of a massive PR campaign by Depp. He's disgusting.
