Honestly, I don't think his audience cares that a woman who has suffered as much Dr. Ford has was taunted by Trump. They think it's funny to do this. They applauded and laughed when he taunted her. I felt enraged by it, personally.
There were no consequences when he mocked the disabled reporter, there won't be any for this.

Do you all think a declaration of being a Republican gives these females a protective aura that thwarts any wrongful attempts by males?

To be fair, female apologists span both sides of the political spectrum. We defended Bill when we probably shouldn't have. And they have pretty much given a free pass to every white male ever accused of impropriety with a woman.

The difference is that we, as women, need to draw a line in the sand for this one. It's a lifetime appointment. This man will be with us, ruling over us for the next 40 years. This cannot stand.

Sadly, I agree.

If that's true, do we really want a "shattered" man on the Supreme Court? One who believes the Clintons, George Soros and Kathy Griffin are to blame?

Thanks, but I'll pass.

I don't care what he says until he backs up the words with his vote.

I hate that Trump has no filter, and I hate that he stepped into this trap. So Kavanaugh should take the fall for Trump being an A$$, as well as take all the penalties for all women who were assaulted but never given justice.

There was no "trap." This is who they really are. They were wolves all along.

Trump being a classless a$$ has nothing to do with Kavanaugh and the Supreme Court. Flake is a conservative Senator and Kavanaugh is a conservative judge. If the allegations of assault are not backed up by some other info, he will be voted onto the court.

If the Dems would not have sat on Ford until the last possible moment the Republicans would have dumped him. Ford reached out in July when she heard that Kavanaugh was a finalist. She wanted to stop him from getting on the court. Had Feinstein redacted her name and sent the letter over at that time Kavanaugh more than likely would not be the nominee. The Dems wanted this to play out the way that it is playing out. They wanted an FBI into Fords allegations. Now that they have that they are trying to move the goal posts to delay even more. This is a political game and has nothing to do with the Supreme Court and more to do with voters. Republican voters want Kavanaugh and there will be a backlash if they drop him. Dem voters want to see them fight everything Trump. The swing voters want to make it look like they really care before they vote the way that gives them the best chance of getting elected. No one cares about Kavanaugh or Ford.

If he is half the man of integrity that John McCain was, he'll vote his conscience and tell those that would try to pull him into their deceit and dishonor to kiss his rump. (McCain might say it more colorfully.)

I know you’re joking, but the depressing fact is that there is no protection if you’re with a man who wants to assault you. There’s no age or behavior or neighborhood or social class or political affiliation or outfit that will save you. It comes down to the men.

And I wish that the Republican women who have been assaulted and who are still supporting Kavanaugh with some twisted logic in an attempt to forget their own assaults would come to their senses. Ford is credible. Kavanaugh has lied excessively. Not only does it seem very incredibly likely that he assaulted Dr. Ford, but also that he didn’t and doesn’t see anything wrong with that at all.

Sadly it looks like Kavanaugh will be voted in. Can’t understand why that Renate woman hasn’t come out more forcefully and against.

What makes you say this? Have any of the 5 undecided votes commented?

Exactly. Once people ELECTED a man who openly mocked a disabled man you have to realize that our country has descended into ignorant savagery.

I don't think you have your finger on the pulse. This stopped being about her allegations the moment he opened his mouth. He blew it for people on both sides of the aisle.

No consequences when he mocked the gold star family either.

Or a POW.

Deplorables eat up the insults.
