Trump has tuned out of this war. He has made more public comments about his ballroom and new granite walkway at the WH than about the war. And his golf weekends at MAL resume unabated while our troops are still in harms way, the country is pissing away billions, and people all over the world are bearing the economic cost of this war.

Yes we never declared war in WW2. Japan (Dec 8, 1941): Passed 82–0 in the Senate and 388–1 in the House.
Germany & Italy (Dec 11, 1941): Congress unanimously approved declarations of war against Germany (88–0 in Senate, 393–0 in House) and Italy on the same day those nations declared war on the U.S.

I guess technically Israel did not formal approve the US declaration of war in 1941.

Troops are in Germany and South Korea too. Plus there have always been troops in the middle East.
