Lot at 2011 practices. Plenty of openings next year at GFR RL

lol if they are dumb enough to drive out to loudoun 4 nights a week to keep playing for GD in that dumpster fire of a club that's on them. gfr will be just fine without a few of them and their drama filled mothers.

HAHAHAHAHA Ohhhhh yes. *THOSE* mom's....

*those* mom’s …sounds like all soccer moms. Could be applied to all age groups and clubs.

Agreed. But this....well.....This is a special group. Team managers who try to have input on rosters and schedules, some of them to work around their own kids high school sports schedules. Honestly, ridiculous levels of interference with this group. Never seen anything quite like this.

If I’m not mistaken these are unpaid volunteer positions? If you have problems you can volunteer for it? Easy to complain from the cheap seats.

I am a volunteer for another age group, that's why I am familiar with their antics.

I have no problem with players following GD to another team if they think that’s best for them. Wouldn’t be my choice/preference for my kid based on what I know but defer to people to make informed choices in their best interest. Very happy with our current GFR coach and if he moved to a nearby club and asked if my DC wanted to follow we’d seriously consider it. But fortunately think he has every intention of staying here and we’ll remain happy with the club.

Pretty unclassy to call out age group managers.

They are volunteers and I am thankful for their time and efforts but I think everyone on this board knows the difference between a no-drama TM that stays in his/her lane and a TM getting involved and mucking around in decisions better left to experts.

lol okay, they are team managers and it's also pretty unclassy for them to say things to the players on the field after a loss in state cup semis that they don't care about the loss b/c their 2 kids wouldn't have been able to make the finals game because they're playing up for the next age group in another tournament anyway!

there are 2 of them and then there are 2-3 other girls on the team that seem to pack together with them and all got special treatment by GD.

If you disliked GD, the Team Managers and the 5 girls so much why would you have kept your child on the team? Sounds like it wasn't a good fit your family.
