there are 2 of them and then there are 2-3 other girls on the team that seem to pack together with them and all got special treatment by GD.

What special treatment to these girls get?
They get to leave for VRSC this month.

Whenever someone says girls get "special treatment" that stands for my daughter is better and deserves to be on the field more than others. Pretty sad to call out kids??

If you disliked GD, the Team Managers and the 5 girls so much why would you have kept your child on the team? Sounds like it wasn't a good fit your family.

Wasn’t planning to after this year but now hoping the toxicity is gone and it will be a better fit

Vrsc already on edge after this past season. I can't wait to see vrsc blow up from this stupid decision.

I think a lot of people from GDs teams are hoping some of his players will follow him.

So just to be clear...the anonymous adults on this forum are talking about 14-year-old children, saying they hope they leave the club...someone may need to take a look in the mirror to identify the toxicity.

I am not an involved party but it sounds like anonymous adults are saying that the parents are toxic. If you are doubting that, you must have wandered onto this board from somewhere far removed from youth soccer. No one mentioned the children at all being the problem.

VRSC is already a very toxic club so he will fit in well there. Don't expect it to last very long though as it's going down hill fast. The president of the club recently went to divorce because of the affairs he was having reportedly with several soccer moms. Coaches were removed from several girls teams over the past year. He's filling that void.

Team managers who try to have input on rosters and schedules, some of them to work around their own kids high school sports schedules. Honestly, ridiculous levels of interference with this group. Never seen anything quite like this.

Pretty unclassy to call out age group managers.

lol okay, they are team managers and it's also pretty unclassy for them to say things to the players on the field after a loss in state cup semis that they don't care about the loss b/c their 2 kids wouldn't have been able to make the finals game because they're playing up for the next age group in another tournament anyway!

Late to the party! TM’s were plotting the loss in semi’s so there wasn’t conflicts? Were they rude to the other kids and cheering for a loss?

More like loudly bragging that their daughters were going to Tampa with another team GD coached for super y nationals so they wouldn’t have been able to go to finals with the team they are actually rostered on. It was to parents but still left a bad taste in lots of our mouths. As the TM your priority should be with the team your kid is rostered on not a guest playing opportunity. Or at least keep it to yourself??

Oh wow. Has anyone confronted these TM’s about this?
