| Has anyone heard from Loyola Marymount EA? |
At a school event (virtual) - school said decisions coming out next week. |
Yes. Hooked $$$$ |
| In. No hooks but a 4.0/36. |
| 3 kids from Sidwell got EA into Yale. |
| In at UVM and Tulane. Not first choices but didn’t want to apply ED anywhere so it’s nice to be in (and also nice not to have to complete and submit any more apps) |
Where? |
| In at Tulane with merit aid. |
Which one? CA? |
Nah, this happens all the time. There’s isn’t an ethical issue, in fact legally you do have access unless waived |

DS deferred at both his ED and EA school. Now we wait until the spring. Beginning to question our strategy. Maybe we should have applied to a rolling or EA at a real safety. Seems like a long wait for more news. Anyone else in this boat?
|
| In EA at Elon. Presidential Scholarship. 4.7 weighted at a MoCo high school. |
Kind of. Deferred from a reach EA and today a safety EA (which was shocking--I didn't even tell my kid I know. He doesn't want to go ther and doesn't know decisions come out). Waiting to hear from a match tonight and and a match/reach tomorrow. If neither of those pan out (and I'm not feeling good about it, given what happened with the safety today), then yes, we're back to the drawing board. This is way harder than I thought it would be. Good luck to you! |
May I ask stats and how much merit aid? Congratulations! |
