SIKE! I don't even have a kid applying to UVA. A friend's daughter is on pins and needles waiting for Vandy, though. As a white female with a 1480 SAT and a 4.0 from a tiny private that doesn't rank, it's gonna be a close one.

Son in ED to VT engineering school. NOVA public, 4.18 gpa and 1540 SAT. Very excited. Back and forth for weeks whether he should apply EA to UVA and VT or ED just to VT. He made the decision.
