I remember this statement. I thought it was the absolute most revealing thing either of them said about the other and the most truthful. It was kind of devastating too.

Classic Narcissist. His addictions go hand and hand with it.

This is totally my husband. I never thought of him as a narcissist, but his dad sure is.

It seems like she was infatuated with him when they worked on movies before then (her husband was supposed be a jerk and cheater) but Ben was definitely into Jlo until the split. Doesn’t seem that anything fishy went down.

Gwenyth and J-Lo both ditched him because of his gambling addiction and boozing...and cheating. He screwed his kids’ nanny for godsake. Who in their right mind wants a guy like that?

She thinks she's different. He's telling her he's never been in love like this before. He's telling her he's a changed man and acting like one too. He's handsome and wealthy and charming and she's in love.

When the honeymoon phase wears off, I'm going to bet it will end similarly to all his other relationships. Especially if they end up having a kid.

Ted Casablanca used to run a gossip column for E. He had several blinds indicating Foley couldn't handle Jen G's fame, was rude to her and cheated on her. So a) could be made up b) maybe not, since he married someone not famous who takes care of house/kids while he works. c) somewhere in the middle, maybe he's matured since then.


I also remembered she dated Michael Vartan, who had crushed on her for a long time, between her split and Affleck. Once Affleck became available, seems she dumped Vartan to make herself available to him.

Correct. They dated for a year and she dumped him for Affleck. I was kinda devastated by that at the time, but I had also hoped she'd get together with Bradley Cooper because they had serious chemistry in Alias. Now I'm showing my age...
