Both leads are gorgeous but they have generic friendship chemistry not love of my life chemistry. Meh. |

I thought the first seasons that hair/makeup/wardrobe people really had it out for Mel and made her look so plain and dowdy. This season she looks nice.
But they’re currently filming Season 5!! |
she literally had ONE pair of pants |
Curios why they started Mel out so frumpy. Wasn't this a "city girl moves to small town blah blah blah, meets cute troubled local guy and they make it work" story plot? Usually the girl in that scenario is ridiculously over primped and unprepared for small town life. But not Mel - she brought her remote untouched look with her. We'll see what Season 5 brings! |
| I watched the first 3 seasons with enthusiasm bc it was just the right thing during the pandemic. However this season, bleh. |
Spoiler alert: It will turn out that Jack has some sperm stormed some where that is accidentally implanted into a virgin named Jane. She will become pregnant with triplets. At the end of the season, Mel will own one pair of maternity pants, and Charmaine will be 6.5 months pregnant. |
Her skin and hair looks gorgeous. Some of those outfits were frump city. The mid-calf, a-line burgundy corduroy skirt comes to mind. |
maybe Mel had to flee the city on laundry day |
| I skipped all parts that involved Hope. She's so annoying, it's unbearable. It would have been better if they killed her character and kept Lilly alive. |
Hope is the worst. |
In her defense, the Hope actress is much better than VR allows her to be. I skip most of Hope too but she was less terrible in the current season. |
She is the worst in this season! Her and Lizzy need to be killed off. |
| I am still on season one + enjoying it |
I think it's enjoyable to watch. The scenery is gorgeous. |
scenery and jack. that's why we watch. |
