16-2.

Who won? And did they play Maret?

Sidwell lost by 2 touchdowns at home to Green Street Academy. A school that started it's football program in 2017. They are the 10,493rd highest ranked team in the country. Higher than Sidwell at 11,066.

Sidwell is not good at football and certain people here seem to really get a sense of satisfaction by driving that point over and over again.

One sport isn’t indicative of the athletic program overall.

They are terrible all across the board. Occasional success in the sports nobody cares about.

I love the obsession with Sidwell sports....by parents at other schools. It's not even like a blood rivalry. It's parents at schools Sidwell doesn't even think about.

Most parents at Sidwell don't even care about Sidwell sports. People here from other schools seem to be much more vested in it.

Strange.

Can Flint Hill’s debate team beat Sidwell’s? How about the Robotics team?

Is this another post saying Sidwell kids are smarter than Flint Hill kids? Great Quaker values.

Why on earth would you assume that was written by a Sidwell parent on page a zillion about a non topic. Lol

Idk, but do Flint Hill Kids matriculate to better colleges than Sidwell? Does Flint Hill’s alumni earn higher salaries after school? Are they overall more successful than Sidwell alum? Or are would you rather beat them in a season football game than those other things?

FH is a marginal school and Sidwell is arguably the best in the area.

FH is no athletic powerhouse, but there are few schools worse athletically than Sidwell.

If this is why you send your kid to private school, then you're probably not using your money that wisely. There are so many other factors that go into. I make over a million a year and went to an average high school and state university. There are ton at my firm who have the same story. It's drive, experience, and street smarts.

Agreed. Sidwell should eliminate their football program.

Why? If there are kids who want to play, and they are having fun, and some go on to play in college, what is it to you?

1. They barely have enough kids to play

2. Losing 62-0 is not fun

3. None of them are going to play in college
